House Call [Day 1, Early Morning]

Sun streaks through the buildings in Sapphire alley. Residents are bustling off to work and the world is still lazy. Lux closed some hours ago but only now was management finally leaving the building for the day. This, of course, was preceded by suits checking the alley just outside and clearing out a homeless Ithorian who'd tumbled over drunk.

[Mallory]

Stepping just outside the door Mallory was approached by one of the other suits. Speaking with him briefly Mallory turned back inside, her arm holding the door open. "Alley's clear."

[Vex]

Stepping outside and into the morning light Vex covered her eyes.

"On our way then," she said, being walked with her full escort further into the alley toward a small garage that sat behind the club. Waiting she looked down on of the other paths at an intersection between all of the buildings in the shade offered by them. Lowering her hand from her face she thought on the many unfortunate denizens of Kamda, those still scrambling in squalor.

[Alder Divo]

As the garage slowly opened the mans dress shoes became instantly visible. Each of the suits aside from Mallory instantly brought their hands to their hips and took up a defensive scatter. Two on the man at the front with the other two keeping an eye on the alley intersection.

Leaned up against Vex's luxury speeder Alder Divo lit a match and watched the flame burn. When the door opened fully he merely looked up toward Vex and watched.

[Mallory]

"Should I handle this mum?" she asked, her hand rising to her jacket pocket.

[Vex]

"Unfortunately, no," she said. Vex pulled out her hand bag and sifted through it for her lipstick, offering her lips a touch up. "This is not something for you to handle dear, but you can tell the boys to settle down. We'll be just a moment, get the speeder ready to leave I would hate to lose opportunity for a rest because of this."

[Mallory]

"Mum," she said, raising her hand in the air and giving three short finger-snaps. All of the suits began to clear up the area and move toward the speeder.

[Vex]

Clasping the handbag closed she stepped forward, the clicking of her heels loud against the hard cement. While a pair of eyes from further down the alley watched the events without interest. Speeders start racing off toward their destinations by nearby.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of this unexpected visit?" she asked, stepping into the garage close to her vehicle.

[Alder Divo]

"Courtesy, Ma'am," he said, stepping closer toward her by one but further from her vehicle by two.

[Vex]

"Courtesy?" she asked, raising her right brow. Crossing her arms over her chest with her handbag still in hand.

[Alder Divo]

"Courtesy," he nodded. Pulling another match from his jacket pocket and holding it passively. Twirling it between his fingers. "Interrupting your schedule and surprising is regrettable, ma'am. That said, it was not my only option and I could have gotten the security force involved instead. Had you brought down to my office with an escort but that would have been trouble for you and me."

He shifted, stepped once more away from the speeder, "I prefer to perform as efficiently as possible, ma'am."

[Vex]

Pausing she regarded the man for a second, stepped closer. "Thank you.." she left her lips parted, not having the name and furrowing a brow.

[Alder Divo]

"Divo, ma'am. Alder Divo, ISB," he replied. Shifting around her one step so that he was further from her vehicle but no further from her. Putting her between him and her vehicle.

"You see, I have to make the rounds as sensitive material has recently gone missing. You are a woman who knows a lot of what happens in this city and I aim to make use of that knowledge. It was in your file," he said, heading off the inevitable question. "Your activities are unimportant to me. I am tracking a particular target and so long as I do not have to tear up the floorboards here I won't."

[Vex]

"Because you're efficient?" she said, regarding him again and stepping one closer to him while putting her open palm on his shoulder. As she stepped forward she lightly pushed him back with her. Looking up at an angle toward him she smiled. This gave room for Mallory to slip in behind them and open the door for Vex.

"Unfortunately, Alder, I have not heard of anything of the sort. Playing with the Imperials is a risky business and I am not a woman who cares to tolerate much risk. I run a business, and any business that involves sensitive Imperial material is a risk not worth taking."

[Alder Divo]

"Divo, ma'am," he corrected. Stepping away from her once more he twirled the matchstick in between his thumb and index finger absentmindedly.

"I will take your testimony down into my file. You understand that I may need to visit again if my investigation demands it? Otherwise, if you are to discover anything during the running of your operations. I would like to inspire you to think about coming down and updating your testimony at your earliest convenience."

[Vex]

"I understand," she says, "Does that conclude our business, Agent Divo?"

[Alder Divo]

"Ma'am," he said, stepping further back from the vehicle and turning the matchstick over in-between his fingers some more.

[Honor]

Mallory waited by the door, closing it behind Vex as she slipped inside. Behind tinted windows the other woman disappeared. Looking over to Divo before she turned about and moved into the passenger seat at the front of the speeder. In a mere moment the speeder took off and was piloted out of the alleyway, quickly disappearing into the traffic.

Alder Divo watched as the speeder disappeared into the distance and traffic. Lighting the matchstick and letting it burn down to the tips of his fingers while he watched. Dropping it down he buried it under the heel of his shoe.
