Where Did the Eggs Come From? (Manny Q&A)
I hope everyone has enjoyed Manny! It's certainly been an experience playing him.
... did everyone get what the deal with Manny and the Cor worlds was?

Re: Where Did the Eggs Come From? (Manny Q&A)
I very much enjoyed Manny! In some cases, it was almost liberating. Usually, before I post, I think of at least one or two really dumb jokes I could be making instead. With Manny, I just... said them.
Sometimes, though, even I had to groan at him. The scene where Jyrvess talks about Corellian Whiskey, and Manny talks about how much he likes it, at least when it's mixed with sugary soda, for instance.
When I started the game, I thought I was going to be too busy, so he was originally intended as a low-engagement funny character. When it turned out I had more time, I think I managed to add some depth to him!

Why oh why the eggs?
Manny gave me so man(n)y laughs this game. Always funny to read what he was up to!
Will Manny grow up some from this game?
What will he be doing going forward?
Will he upgrade from eggs?

I liked Manny quite a bit, as did Jyrvess... even if she didn't always show it. In fact she is going to ask him to go with her to do this whole Rebel thing.

Haha, the eggs. That was entirely formed from improv. I had the idea for him to get all his pockets mixed up D3 and start pulling out random things. I was like "What would he have? Uh... eggs?" And thus the egg gag was born. I came up with the IC justification that it was a habit from when he would do a trick involving them, but it was mostly OOC improv.
Manny actually did experience some growth! As a youth, he decided that crime was cool, but while he liked the lifestyle, he didn't really care for any of the unpleasant elements. He'd managed to mostly involve those, but learning about different options (Raven, Jyr) and seeing more of the darker side of crime (Mallory, Leah) have helped him look for something else. Something bigger, maybe.
And so he's going to help the rebellion somehow! With that in mind...

The two of them did have an entertaining dynamic. As much as I viewed Manny as the Sokka of the game (or maybe the Bolin), I felt that the dynamic between Manny and Jyr was a bit like Sokka and the travelling musicians:

Manny is happy to have someone smart and cool like Jyr be part of his crew!
