Star Buster [Day 9, EE - LE]

Event Type: Heist
Participants: 4
Time-Slots: Early Evening, Mid-Evening, Late Evening

This is a Heist type event, any roll may be taken so long as it makes sense to accomplish the goal. Players are to find their way into the prison sector, get their way passed the security team present, and then locate and secure the prisoner. Once she is safe the team must then make their way toward an escape pod or other exit.

Accomplishing this monumental task will be done with 10 rolls of different skills. 7 of which must be successful or a Combat will initiate while the crew completes the remainder of their objectives.

Three Rolls are to be made at Average.
Four Rolls are to be made at Hard.
Three Rolls are to be made at Daunting.

Nerra's people got you on board a Imperial shuttle, then they got you on board the Star-destroyer itself. You've all waited in the hold for the right time, the signal, and when it was received you knew it was finally go time. It was time to get to work.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess was there, having agreed to help. With the provided disguise from the growing Rebellion.



"I never thought I would be in this uniform again." Her expression is sour. "Nothing but bad memories from the prior times."

[Claymore Frost]

Claymore walks in and sits down near Jyrvess. He looks at at her and Nerra, "Hello."

He pulls my slicing gear out to make it's calibrated, when looks back at Jyrvess. "Hum, yeah, that is an impeccable disguise, Jyrvress. I definitely would not it was you, if it wasn't for yesterday night's... events..."

[Vincenzo Senesca]

Vince wasn't really sure how he had gotten roped into this, but people were packages right? At least if you were transporting one from place A to place B, or so he had mostly convinced himself. Glasses was here though, even if she didn't look much like Glasses and instwad looked a lot more like Bad Hair Day.

Then there was Helmet Head 2.0, or was it 3.0? It was hard to keep count. Wotever it was didn't really matter much he was just here to do his part.

[Tosath Nazora]

The doctor was present and ready to assist, posing as a medical officer. It was a rare sight, but not unheard of with rumors of them being involved with biological weapon and genetic research. It didn't hurt that they looked mostly human with only small variations as well. He wasn't a big fan of this type of work or supporting any particular faction of the resistance, but there was a life to be saved and he was always happy to work towards that goal.

"Alright," the pilot said, one of Nerra's people in uniform. "I can't stay here, so you're all going to have to find your own way off the ship. Prison sector is down on level 23, so you'll need to gain access to a lift. Once there you should be able to find a prisoner oversight station to figure out which one she's in. Once you've got her... well, I'd go for an escape pod but if you find you need to do it in a rush gunning for a transport won't be the worst option. Just.. be careful, alright? Nerra sent us here to save someone. No sense getting blown out of the sky on the way out, or pulling something too risky, yea?" he put his hand on Nazora's shoulder.

"Kamda needs you," he said to Nazora and then looked to the others, "All of you. Now go, quickly, before they come back and get suspicious."

[Tosath Nazora]

He looks at the pilot and says, "The prisoner needs us. That's more than enough."

He goes to his pack and gets a selection of enhancing stims ready. "I've got options here, for temporary chemical enhancements," he starts explaining. "Let me know what you think will do the most good for each of you and I can use something. They'll last for a good amount of time."

After sorting through them, he selects one for himself and applies the injector. The injection takes effect and he can feel his mind clearing and becoming far more focused.

"You want to stick me with some weird sort of drug?" Vinny asked wide eyed. That didn't really sound too safe honestly. His eyes shifted to Glasses.

"I suppose if it helps though I could do with being a bit stronger or quicker or something."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess manages a laugh, "I don't suppose you have a drug to make me a preening asshole, that would be the best way to impersonate an Imperial Officer." She shakes her head, "More seriously I think Mr Frost and yourself can handle the analytics...I think I will need quicker thinking to handle face to face meetings with our 'fellow soldiers'."

Nodding as each gives their preferred enhancement, he goes through each. Vincenzo's and Claymore's go without a hitch, but there is a slight complication with Jyrvress's, the chemical balance being slightly off for her physiology. It still enhanced her mind, but stimulated her analytical capabilities rather than her ability to think quickly.

Not that he notices, since it seems to have taken effect and his mind was not hers.

Jyrvess feels her mind abuzz, she didn't feel any more quick witted but her recall of facts came in faster. She looked to the infiltration team, "Alright before we begin, I want to give you all a crash course in Imperial protocol...." The ex-spy gives them all the essential little details to help them look official and hopefully less likely to be questioned.

Vince listened as Bad Hair Day explained all their was about Imperial protocol, most seemed to drift through one ear and out the other, it was likely a few things stuck with him though. Well, hopefully,

"So where to now?" He asked as he glanced around at the trio of smart people. HE certainly felt stronger after the Mad Doctor's shot, and he had to fight the urge to try and punch thought just to test it out.

"Now we make our way through a bureaucratic mess and get to the prisoners. Fortunately, with me here, you have someone that knows the way. Thanks to being a former resident of the prison a few years back. But it's been so long and imperial turnover is so frequent there won't be anyone that recognizes me. Especially with all the new faces and and everything that's going on. I suggest we use a cover of being surprise health and safety inspectors, with military escort because of the recent troubles. I certainly have acceptable credentials for health inspections and I'm sure that Miss Ertil can cover safety related concerns if questions come up," he explains.

He lays out his idea for the plan and reinforces the actual physical layout so that they can more easily make decisions about how to navigate the Empire's holdings both physically and socially.

Vincenzo nodded to the Mad doctor before approaching the nearest corner to check their path, wouldn't do to have grand admiral hat and pipe around the corner inspecting the troops or whatever grand admirals did. Probably bad guy things liek harassing their underlings if the actions of the Imps thus far was any indication.

Unfortuneatly he was caught in the act of being sneaky, And it brought the attention of a nearby solider to the group.

[Claymore Frost]

Claymore starts working with his slicing gear and goes after disabling security program and maybe try leave some leaky data to make extra mayhem. Extra mayhem can to useful in this types of situations. And he's going to try to make he intrusion go all over as many nodes as can, while being able to get the job done. Even with his skills being what are, this task is going to be very difficult indeed.

After awhile, completes his task better than I thought. Now to remove his tracks from the data stream and get a permanent backdoor, because it might be good with all the people thrown in jail by the Imp's.

With the Claymore's computer hack drawing attention from the group of soldiers, Jyrvess signals the group and whispers quietly. "They will begin a general sweep, following this patrol pattern. When can exploit the gaps to avoid the worst of any planned patrols. Fewer patrols meet means fewer questions."

Just like that, the alarm claxons started sounding. Troopers rushed to pass as they responded to the now wide-going call aboard the ship. Luckily, whatever was causing this wasn't anything that caused anyone to look twice at the group. Giving them the space, and ability, to finish the job. So long as they maintained their low profile.

[Claymore Frost]

Clay looks at the door latching mechanism of a security door. He knows there are going to be 2 or 3 different types of doors in ships and buildings. Normal doors that will simple to open. Then there is the security door, with potential levels of secureness, but they will be derivatives the same door. There may be different passcodes, but there's why the backdoor he setup will be handy.

"There may be a vault door or three, but we've here for credits or precious stones..." He says to himself. "Hopefully this door the most difficult level..."

He starts working jerry rigging the door so it looks close and locked, but isn't. It takes a minute, but he's able it to work. Any other doors he needed to rig will easy enough. Now for him to disappear before the next patrol.

There was more then one way to avoid patrols and the one Vincenzo choose to arrive at the cells was likely one of the more peculair. But then who traveled between levels in lift shafts or garbages chutes, and we was correct about how most people didn't look up. Unorthodox as it was, it did let him lead the group further through the ship towards the cells, and avoid notice along the way. Even if it was likely a bit physically challenging for other members of the group.
