"If I may..." Jyrvess spoke up, "Regardless of the path we will have to watch our backs now. Your fellows outside will keep any new Imperials out but...clearly in here we could be flanked by who ever went left instead of right or vice versa."

Raven nodded. That was the possibility they'd have to face, and splitting up would be a terrible idea anyway.

"I'll take point. Varina, cover our six - I trust your perceptiveness and combat prowess to watch our backs."

[Claymore Frost]

"Hey, Raven, I wear the Death Watch insignia for people like Bo-Katan Kryze, but the Saxon dogs... I fight beside you. I could pledge to be your tech specialist or something, if it would give you peace of mind." He puts hand up of his chestplate and blows lightly to her. He knows the insignia has giving him everything, and it took everything from her.

Raven gave a nod and a grunt, readying her rifle for their advance. "We can talk about that later at a better time..."

[Varina Ordo]

"Fancy stuff there," she said, regarding the helmet. It was half-tempting to put it on now. But the time wasn't right...

"Won't let you down," she said, looking around, "Following your lead."

Down they went, the left path, it was sandy and dark in spots. Others it was too bright because of the giant lamps they'd set up inside. Loud from generators that were running. Eventually they came upon what must have been the barracks of the ruins. Modern day comforts lay about and it was clear this old barracks was changed out for a new one.

The Imperials left their mark on this place, at least it was clear they weren't caring for the barracks historical significance. It was bright enough to see that they were alone in here, all the soldiers must have sallied out to aid the defense when they first attacked.

[Claymore Frost]

Clay looks at the room. "Hum, I don't think anyone is home. Be mindful of traps, could be be none, but better safe than sorry... And, I do have my tool kit and slicing gear on me." He starts one look around the walls be look if there is anything fishing before moves at all. "This is a Mando base, so..."

[Raven Cadera]

"Shit," Raven said in a low voice, frustrated that she'd led them the wrong way. "We'll search through this... camp," she gestured to the location, "later."

This couldn't have een what the Imps were looking for, so that left the other hallway that Varina had seen drag-marks.

[Varina Ordo]

"Swanky place," she remarked as a throwaway joke. She glanced around and then shrugged. "I doubt they kept anything important here."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Well....one possibility has been eliminated and one means of ambush from the rear ruled out," Jyrvess remarked as she fell into the middle of the group. "I wish I had time to try and at least get an idea of what era this is dated."

[Claymore Frost]

"I'll help you after the battle, if you want." Clay said as tries to keep his shield close to her.

When they were prepared, the other tunnel was open to them, it was just a matter of one foot in front of the other.

As before, Raven went first, ready and alert to dangers or potential ambushes.

When they walked out, walked around, and entered the next area they came up upon the group slowly but it seemed the troopers there noticed them on their approach first. However, before any shooting started in the room a man walked forward. Beside him was the archaeologist from the other day. All around them waited surveying gear, prospector equipment and behind.. something large underneath a large tarp being prepared for removal.

"Hold your fire," the man barked an order. A grey crew cut with a fade he walked forward and put a hand on one of the troopers shoulders. "Before we start shooting each other, how about we talk?" the man said, his armor was covered by a large jacket.

"Son to Daughter," he said, looking to Raven. Noticing the Beskargam.

[Raven Cadera]

Raven maintained her position in front of the others, making her the natural target instead of the other ones. If a helmet could frown, it would've done so now.

Her rifle lowered and she spoke in an even tone. "You may speak, Mando'ad. This place will soon be overrun, and you will have a chance to surrender," the tall Mandalorian woman said as she stepped forward.

Jyrvess took the chance to move near some crates, if the shooting started she didn't want to be in the open. She hoped the similarly squishy Clay would do like wise....

Very quietly asking, "What are you doing?" As he tries to keep her protected with his shield.

"Before we speak, which of the Mando'ade do I speak with?" he asked, calling out from behind the barricades.

[Raven Cadera]

"Raven of Clan Cadera. Who am I speaking to?" she asked in return as she had given her name.

[Honor]

"Raven?" he chuckled to himself, shook his head. What luck he had, he thought as he called out, "Daughter of Tyber Cadera?"
