The most dirtbag of all sixteen year-old Mandalorians came in tow. She watched the librarian and realized the most important thing: she hadn't gotten her weekly allowance from her in awhile.

Jyrvess watched the Mandolarian leave then her eyes snapped back to the Mandalore himself. "Ah...unfortunately given the recent...incidents, there are likely both TIEs flying a patrol circuit and at least a squadron in readiness. That is to say 12 , perhaps minus any already any the air, TIEs prepared to launch with their pilots staying in a nearby building in their flight suits. So you have flying time on 2-4 already airborne TIEs and then maybe 15 minutes for 8-12 to be airborne and flying time for them to be here. The patrols could be anywhere, but the scrambled fighters will likely be at Kamda's Spaceport and/or an orbiting ship."

She managed a nervous smile, "The good news is that Bombers are not kept in readiness so....you have at least 30 minutes, more likely 45 to an hour, before heavier ordinance arrives. Also...they may have surface to air weapons at the dig site and I very much doubt the TIE pilots would expect an attack by anything heavier then a blaster rifle."

Clay is feeling like his 'corporate espionage' is the whole reason for this battle, Jyrvess being here in the first place, and has become a 'Raven is the Chosen One' party. But, he knows his the bond with Raven will mean he gets his due also. And he is thankful for her.

Looking to the Mandalorian to his right, Mandalore nods and they understand. Taking the rest of the entourage they fly off into the night themselves.

"Now," he said, turning to everyone. "Let us walk," he said, his grin evident in his tone.

They would walk there, to the dig-site, and upon getting closer seeing the carnage unfold before them. Eight Mandalorian warriors, that was all it seemed to take to decimate the bases defenses in so short a time. At least, those on the outside that were prepared for a fight. Fighting was still ongoing as they approached but Mandalore and the others found no resistance as they walked to the center of the compound.

Kagr approached and reported that reinforcements were indeed coming, but they would be ready. Dredgen and the other warriors took the moment upon themselves to join the scattered fighting around the camp.

Placing the butt of his weapon upon the ground he turned to the group following, "Our warrior will hold this line. You and yours," he said, looking to Clay and Raven, "will venture inside and find what it is they have been seeking of our past. Fight hard," he said, dismissing them to their task.

"As you command, Mand'alor," Raven nodded, unslinging her carbine from her back.

She was ready to take point, knowing she'd have a better chance at withstanding an enemy attack. "I'll take lead, watch our six."

Jyrvess let out a slow breath of relief, she shrugged at the purple Mandolarian and spoke softly, "I guess the little outsider doesn't get a treat for sitting up and doing a trick?"

To Raven and Clay she asks, "Is this...something I am allowed to be doing? I have no desire to offend by trespassing in ignorance on something sacred to your people."

"Your knowledge and insights could prove useful, and Mandalore would've ordered you to stay put if it was the case of you trespassing. I think he might even begrudingly approve of you, Jyv," her tone was slightly teasing through the distortion of the helmet.

"Just stay behind me. I got you."

Raven passed her blaster pistol to Jyvress, knowing that the woman only had a measly holdout. It would have a bit more stopping power and range for her to work with.

Walking off to the fight at the perimeter the Mandalorian marked purple brought two fingers up to the T shape of her visor and 'blew a kiss,' before turning away and shouting back, "I'll bring ya something!" when she took off she was laughing.

Jyrvess blinked...confused for a moment, then after replaying her own words she had a realization. It brought a blush of embarrassment that was probably on her face as she took the pistol. "Alright...I'll do what I can."

She nodded to the three Mandolarians she was now partnered with and let them take the lead.

Dex, without the armor of the other Mandalorian's, at least offered a face to this whole affair for Jyvress to have some sense of not being totally alone. Of course... maybe that was squandered by.. "ALRIGHT!" she shouted, "I'm ready, let's do this, let me at 'im!" she said, pumped up. Smashing her fists together she whipped out a blade she'd specially tried to make herself with the guidance of Kagr one day.

Varina took a moment to slide up behind Raven. "Is she, uh, a Mandalorian now? Or does she just know a lot about stuff because that's what librarians do?"

Clay puts his armored hand on Raven, puts helmeted head and says, "Together!" Then as he pulls back, he says, "No, dying without me..." His way of saying 'I love you, sister.' in a way that shouldn't make her blush.

"I hope I didn't make a mistake bringing Jyrvess here. I asked her about a few codes and a couple other things in the data, then it came to me ask her to stay..." Watching Jyv walking away.

Raven bumped Clay's shoulder with her fist. "Today is a good day for our enemies to die. And she's proven herself worthy on a hunt this morning - she'll be fine."

But then again, Raven had little understanding for other people's more delicate constitution. Why weren't everyone just naturally tough like proper Mandalorians?

As she moved forward, she unclipped a frag grenade and threw it at the nearest group. Their cover was their saving grace, annoyingly.
