Consequences

Just like in life, in fiction actions have consequences.

A basic concept with a slightly bad connotation that bad things will happen. However, an understanding I want to reach before this game sets out is that actions will have consequences. Sometimes these consequences will be good, sometimes they will be bad, and more often than we would like they are not what we would expect them to be.

With that said, I would like to note a few examples here to give you some ideas of what you should think about when operating your character and deciding what they would do:

- Pay someone a compliment and they are more likely to do the same.
- Betray a trust and that person is less likely to trust again.
- Give to those in need and then they in turn, when their situation has improved, are like to give to others in need.
- Save a friend and they are like to return the favor someday.
- Neglect to set your blaster to stun, and the Empire is likely to do the same.

Your characters actions, whether they will it or not, will likely be lumped in with those of the Resistance. Thus, your choices will likely affect how the people of Kamda see the Resistance and how the Empire sees them as well. An Empire at threat from a militant force is going to respond more harshly than that of a Empire being nuisanced by a rowdy band of resistance fighters who make mischief at the bottom line.
