Fuff returned, all dressed up. He had overheard the speech. "I don't want to get caught though, so I hope it all envisages an escape if things go too motley." He even modulated his voice to sound as blase as a Stormtrooper.

Ters blinked. "Impressive," he said, and followed the others into the transport.

"All aboard. Here we go."

Dross drove to the prison. Every movement was precise. If his companions looked out the window, they would have noticed he remained exactly the same distance from the transport in front as behind him. He was the very pinnacle of Imperial efficiency. On the way, he brief them on standard Imperial operating procedure and what is expected actions for various situations.

The plan was for Fuff to bluff their way in. Jaxom focused on the prisoner'security scheme, studying it as they approached. If things went bad, they'd need to know of any weak spots it might have.

Fuff tried to locate some imminent threat to their extraction, but nothing seemed apparent. Damn, he wasn't good at this kind of thing.

...but cluelessness conferred some small advantage. When he moved forth, he did so in a way like he had walked this prison routinely. He wordlessly saluted to the Stormtrooper at the nearest checkpoint, patted them on the arm, and led the group further. "Good job. Stay on guard."

Jaxom guided them through, following what he had observed of security.

While the other dealt with security, Dross headed off to sneak around the base to find the prisoner. He didn't succeeded. But something else interesting happening.

While he didn't find the prisoner he did almost get caught, but ducking behind some cover he noticed a closer exit than they'd originally planned. Finding a side-platform that housed some of the VIPersonel's private crafts. Making the need for a quick exit all the easier if it came to that.

Fuff bought them more time to look for the detainee by masterfully scaring a chancy Loth-bat. The creature darted down the corridor, squealing in a way that made it a priority for the Stormtroopers to silence it.

And there was the final guard at the door. Fuff move forth to strike a random conversation, pretending to be next-of-shift, waiting for some higher-ups to give him precise orders. The talk was about the hardships of the life as a Storptrooper, subpar shooting training, how the Core assignees had it better, why there wasn't enough Corellian whiskey in the local cantina...

It was easy enough to get into the cell, after Fuff distracted the guard. Jaxom slipped inside to find the prisoner they'd been sent for. He held up a finger, cautioning silence as he sliped his helmet off.

Nearby, to his right, sat a instrument that functioned as a wheelchair. In the bed a horribly malnourished mirialan. When Jaxom entered the man didn't even stir.

Jax checked for wounds or any other obvious signs the mirialan couldn't be moved. He had no medical knowledge, but there wasn't much choice. Hopefully, the chair meant they moved him ocassionally. Carefully, he tried to lift him and place him in the chair.

Meanwhile, Fuff feigned receiving orders of taking over the watch in the section; the Stormtrooper, already full of longing for a bit of comfort from their earlier conversation, took the hoax on face value and left. The path to evacuating prisoners was clear!

Dross helped Jaxom lifting the prisoner.

When they got back to the transport, he was silent. All he think of was the way the mirialan looked and a question. 'What was I fighting for?'

"We'll need to take that short cut you found." Jaxom said. "The sooner we get him some medical attention, the better."
