Daring Rescue from Bloc T:33 [Day 6, ME-LE]
Daring Rescue from Bloc T:33 [Day 6, ME-LE]
Event Type: Heist (<3 Dapper for the original concept.)
Timeslot: Mid-Evening and Late Evening
Participants: 4*
- *Supporting Covert Faction *(You do not need to have been previously supporting the covert faction)*
Hired on by Nerra specialists from Kamda put together their skills to infiltrate the infamous Bloc T:33 which houses criminals wanted by the Imperial Empire. Here Nerra believes that a prisoner of great importance to the cause is being kept hidden away from Kamda. Now, on the annual memorial holiday of the Angel's bitter end is the time to strike.
Save the former Angel of Kamda and bring him home.
Event:
This is a Heist event which means a group of Skilled individuals shall gather to prove their merit.
In order to do so they must make 10 Skill Checks, and must at least pass 7 of them.
All rolls must be made with a different skill.
For the first Four Checks the Difficulty is Average.
For the next Three Checks the Difficulty is Hard.
For the last Three Checks the Difficulty is Daunting.
Any skill may be used but be sure to try and keep it in theme. This is a role-play driven event and the skill rolls may be determined by the Roleplay as you see fit.
Goals through this event are simple, Get inside the Mountain prison base, find where the prisoner is, extract him, and then get back out.
Your skill rolls must represent how you accomplish these goals so please spread them out throughout the tasks to make a neatly concise little mission.
GM involvement will come in as per Triumphs or Despair require, or by GM choice.
Two Threat will create a Setback for the next check.
Two Advantage will create a Boost for the next check.
Any leftover (1) will be converted to Strain or Strain damage as is respective of what they normally do.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Due to Ters Tii's Triumph in the previous event, and his use of the roll to acquire the schematics for this base every roll in this event gains 1 Boost Dice.

Ters arrived at the rendezvous point with a crate. Inside the crate were 3 sets of stormtrooper gear, one with a lieutenant's insignia. He felt reasonably good about his success thus far.

My apologies, I thought I noted this above but it appears I did not. All rolls used much be of different skills.

Dross rolled up in an Imperial prison transport. He gets out and nods to Ters. "Ready when you are."

Ters smiled and began to take out the uniforms. "We're waiting for two more, I think. But nice job on the acquisition."

Dross shrugs. "Thank Nerra for that. He has a talent for such things."

Fuff appeared at the rendezvous. "I hope it is going to fit."

"Humano-centrism reveals yet another downside for the people of the galaxy," Ters joked.

"It might be uncomfortable, but it should fit." Dross hesitates. "If need be, I have an uniform too. Though it is an Imperial pilot uniform."
Re: Daring Rescue from Bloc T:33 [Day 6, ME-LE]
"That should stand us in good stead, Mr. Stargazer." Ters smiled and nodded.

Jaxom approached. He had taken a longer route, concerned about being followed. "Alright, let's do this."

Dross gave smile. "Are all bar owners secret rebels?"

"I don't own the bar." he shook his head.

"The bigger question is, how am I supposed to fit my tail inside this?" Fuff was struggling to roll he fluffy, long tail into the buttock space of the tight Stormtrooper armour. He tried rolling it, pretzel-style, flinching and grimacing all the way. "Hello, Jaxom."

"Oh." Did the droid own it? "Well, bartenders then." After all, apparently, he was a rebel now whether he liked it or not.

"If only stormtroopers wore capes." He started putting his set on. "Maybe we can make a few alterations for you Fuff."

"I don't know? It all feels very sleeve-like." The cat sighed. "Ok, I have an idea. But I need some privacy." He skulked to the side.

Ters frowned apologetically. "I am sorry about the armor, Fuff. Mine is no roomier in the rear, or I would offer to switch."
He paused awkwardly for a moment, letting Fuff do his business, then turned to the subject at hand.
"So, having looked at the schematics, the best way to approach this would seem to be to maintain our profile as stormtroopers here for a transfer as long as we possibly can, using the Imperial protocols against them. Any disruption to our cover should ideally be handled verbally, but if a person simply must be eliminated before they can raise an alarm, it will be best to do so in one of these spaces, which are not covered by security feeds. Our target has been in prison under circumstances in excess of any righteous interpretation of the law. It may be that he, not the guards or other security measures, will be the most challenging part of our mission. However, I am confident in our skills and in our bearing, and I expect that, working together, we will be successful and Kamda will have the spark it needs. Hopefully."

Dross has his doubts, but he just says, "Alright. Let's load up."
