[D2EE] Hot Crimes

[Munchfronta]

Munch slowly draws his pistol above but otherwise waits to see how it plays out. Still, if any of them drew on Manny....

"Ohh, whooaaa, heyy, we're all friends here, right? We want to go home, don't we?" the Mirialan asked, putting his hands up with the blaster pointed at him.

"We didn't come out here to waste our time!" the leader of the Weequay spoke.

"Come on.." the Mirialan said.

Seeing Manny moving the lead Weequay threw his aim over toward Manny, and the Mirialan dropped his hand to his side. In a flourish he grabbed his pistol and placed two blaster rounds into the first Weequays chest and another into one of the others.

The third grabbed for his gun, but Munch was in position to take a clear shot..

(Munch can just pew pew, no roll needed)

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyvress managed to hold her calm as guns started to come out. Her hand slipped into her coat pocket and gripped her holdout blaster....she hadn't shot one of these in years. It came out of her pocket but she held it pointed down, ready if needed.

Her player assumes the murder mouse kills the Weequay

[Munchfronta]

There's a loud double barreled pew from above as Munch fires into the remaining Weequay
"Well, that's a shame."

[Fuff]

"Looks like it ain't a party on Kamda if there ain't any corpses." Fuff frowned at the sudden change of pace, just after he had straightened up his lowered ears. "Hope it concludes the business here."

[Manny Donos]

"Whoa." Manny said, blinking, as the Weequay died. A life, snuffed out, just like that. Manny observed a moment of silence.

With the moment up, he turned and gave Munchfronta a wave. "Thanks, bro! I knew you got me!"

[Honor]

With another flourish the Mirialan slipped his blaster back into it's holster. "Well, sorry about that.. hired help can't be trusted all the time, it seems," the Mirialan shrugged and gave a wave over to the human who joined him on their speeder.

"Sorry about all the trouble, not my usual take and this was supposed to be an easy job," he said, thinking and then looking back, "no offense."

[Munchfronta]

"Whoa." Manny said, blinking, as the Weequay died. A life, snuffed out, just like that. Manny observed a moment of silence.

"'Course! He was all 'now you die!' and I was all 'Nooooo! Not my buddy' and then I plugged him. Crazy stuff."

Jyvress sighs and slips her blaster back into a pocket. "Well what's done is done. I guess we should get our own crate secured." Jyvress hid a grimace as she suddenly thought Did we think to make sure it was sealed?

[Manny Donos]

With another flourish the Mirialan slipped his blaster back into it's holster. "Well, sorry about that.. hired help can't be trusted all the time, it seems," the Mirialan shrugged and gave a wave over to the human who joined him on their speeder.

"Sorry about all the trouble, not my usual take and this was supposed to be an easy job," he said, thinking and then looking back, "no offense."

Manny shrugged. "None taken. It's just how it goes. You win some, you lose some."

He smirked. "On the other hand, maybe you'll know better than to bet against us next time."

"'Course! He was all 'now you die!' and I was all 'Nooooo! Not my buddy' and then I plugged him. Crazy stuff."

"Yeah!" Manny said. That was basically exactly how he remembered it.

[Fuff]

Fuff gravitated toward the group's brain. "Anything on your mind about all this, Mrs BB?" He uttered very quietly.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess turned to look at him and responded equally as quiet. "Just thinking I didn't check the crate's seal....in all the commotion."

[Fuff]

"Let's do that then."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"I will keep an eye on them... maybe try and stall them. You go check." Jyrvess turned back to the other smugglers. "Hey, before you go... might I ask what you know about our employer? You seem to run in his circles."

[Fuff]

Fuff nodded and fell back to check, hopefully making it look casual and expected.

[Honor]

Fuff found that the crate was, indeed, still sealed. By all miracles.

"Jarvis?" the Mirialan said, turning about and leaning on the end of his speeder. "Well, the old fool is.. well, an old fool. Still playing in the game a bit even after he got out. Was once like you and me.. well," he smirked, "more me I guess. Anyway, decent guy I guess, far as you can trust a scoundrel he's trustworthy enough. Never worked with him, and well.. guess if you go saying anything I might not get a chance.. or maybe I will," he shrugged, "don't quite know the man that personally."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Everyone makes dumb decisions in business. I'm a forgiving sort in the end." Jyrvess gives the man a disconcertingly innocent smile. "And sometimes people make two in the same venture."

Jyrvess hoped the cat would be back shortly... otherwise she was going to have to ask weird questions.

[Honor]

"Well.. P'up p'u," he said, giving a small salute off from the top of his head as he brought himself around to the front. Starting up the speeder he leaned over and gave Manny a beckoning wave. Waiting for him to walk over.

[Fuff]

Fuff indeed returned with a soft 'it's good' close to Jyv's ear. Unless they had found some way around the seal he hadn't found. He nevertheless waved to the departing fellow criminals.

"Well.. P'up p'u," he said, giving a small salute off from the top of his head as he brought himself around to the front. Starting up the speeder he leaned over and gave Manny a beckoning wave. Waiting for him to walk over.

Eyebrows going up, Manny walked over. "Yeah?" He asked, curious.
