[D2EE] Hot Crimes

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Alright...fine," Jyvress nods, "We will work together...now where is the crate and your speeder?" She looks past her conversation partner and down the cave. Then glances back at her two compatriots and shrugs.

[Manny Donos]

Manny gave her grin and a confident thumbs-up.

[Honor]

"Follow me," he said, giving a wave to his people as they filtered in. The human from the bar especially trying to keep his distance toward the back of the group. Bringing them toward a boulder they could mostly hide behind, though it was a tight fit, he crawled up on top of it and pointed out a sleeping creature.

Some big reptilian-dog-like thing. Looked vicious, bad news, probably.

[Fuff]

The aforementioned cat was a bit suspicious, and so looked for any traces of trickery in the other group's behaviour.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Oh....lovely. And where is the crate and speeder?" When they had slid back down out of danger of stirring the creature.

[Honor]

"Riiight.." he pointed out, "there.." the speeder was toward the back of the room, while the crate was some ways passed it. It was big, heavy, and definitely needed the loader bot. Which meant..

"Well since we are....comrades for the moment, perhaps we can all put our heads together and figure out what to do about the lizard while my droid moves the crate and speeder?" Jyvress gestured toward her crew and his.

[Fuff]

Try as he might, Fuff saw nothing suspicious.

"My best thoughts shooting it, unless you wanna do something crazy," he said, but raised the blaster-pistol in his hand "Though.. that's just about as crazy considering what we've got on hand. Blasted pea-shooter wouldn't even scratch a dewbacks itch."

[Manny Donos]

"Maybe someone could make friends with it?" Manny suggested, a strange mix of doubtful and optimistic. "Offer it some food. Maybe it'll leave us alone. I have some eggs."

"Not me, though." He added hastily. "Animals are always biting me. I feel like every other time I break into someone's house, their pet tries to bite me."

[Fuff]

"Maybe I can handle it, depending on the... species." Fuff shrugged, not certain why he was even mentioning the possibility.

[Manny Donos]

Manny glanced at the dog-lizard, and then back to the cat, giving him a concerned frown. "Be careful." He said.

His hands moved quickly, and then he passed Mr Gib a handful of eggs, apparently taken from various vest pockets.

[Honor]

"Maybe it's cause you're breaking.." the Mirialan shook his head. "You know what, nevermind. You, pretty-boy," he said, pointing at Fuff, "if you got yourself a thought that you can calmly get that thing up and outta the way.. I'm willing to bet my best credit on you."

[Fuff]

Fuff accepted the eggs, though what he was planning was unlikely to require them. "I have a condition though. You all fall back. No-one watches."

[Honor]

"I'm agreed to that," the Mirialan said, giving his people a wave. Waiting for himself to retreat with Jyvress and Manny.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess nodded and patted Fuff's shoulder. "Good luck Mr. Gee." With that she also withdrew.

[Manny Donos]

Manny frowned. "Well, okay. But just yell really loud if you need us. We got your back."

And he, too, backed off.

[Fuff]

Fuff sighed, and first tried persuasion. He approached the creature and sat in a relatively safe distance. Then rolled an egg in the creature's direction. "Let's talk how one misunderstood creature to another. You don't have to be here. Elsewhere is nicer."

At the same time, he watched whether the creature had a nose that looked sensitive.

As the egg rolled over toward the creature it rolled just up about toward the front. Causing the creature to sense a little disturbance and sniff, huff against the ground. Knocking up a fair amount of dust. From what he could tell, it appeared a creature who made use of it's nose to hunt but also had some ability to seal it up.

[Fuff]

Another egg was tossed toward its maw. "C'mon, aren't you tempted a little to move around?"
