Following along with the cat was a not cat, she could of course put cat ears on her head and attach a cat tail to he belt but probably didn't.

"You seem to know your way around the streets quite well Mr. G." Jyvress remarked as she walked beside him. Though her own eyes were searching the area as well, hoping to spot a droid.

[Fuff]

"Sensing is a better term, Mrs BB. I don't exactly 'know' anything around here that much. Though spaceports look alike overall. Same functionalities, little variation." He wasn't yet sure if he'd find something appropriate, so he wasn't entirely at ease to wonder whether Mrs BB going full kitty cosplay would be cute or gross. Likely the former. "You're more a person to 'know' so if my whiskers lie to me, it's better that there's that to fall back on so that we don't wander here in vain."

"I've been in a few spaceports in my time." Her attention shifts from droids to soldiers. "I guess it depends on how new the colony is, but they all have to follow a certain pattern...only so many ways to layout 'hanger, landing pad, entry/exit'."

"Hopefully we can spot one kind further out, avoiding unfortunate questions with unfortunate individuals."

[Fuff]

"I wouldn't like those questions either." Fuff said, apprehension showing in his nose's crinkling. "Let's try to stay out of their sight."

"Or in their sight but too insignificant to bother with." Jyvress replied, then she added, "You're quite a talented singer by the way."

Despite the difficulty of slipping around the intense spaceport security, Fuff manages to sneak them into a back warehouse area which just seems ripe with potential. It doesn't take long for the opportunity to prove out and they find a droid that would perfectly fit their specifications moving about in the warehouse doing it's assigned tasks.

Only a few problems to deal with, getting the droid to cooperate.. and the work foreman that was overseeing operations.

Leaning out of sight, Jyvress looks to Fuff, "Well we found or droids....what about the foreman?"

[Fuff]

"Pick a droid, and I'll try to arrange some distraction for the foreman exactly at the other end of the warehouse." Fuff whispered, and he would immediately look for potential opportunities in this regard.

Jyvress selected the one closest that seemed capable of the job. She waited until Fuff began his distraction before making her own move.

Jyvress grabs Fuff's arm before he goes to distract the man. "Those crates over there, that sort of container is only used for fragile valuables. Make a loud enough noise around it and he will be forced to go through a full inspection to ensure the cargo is undamaged. That will keep him busy awhile."

That was a great plan and Fuff was going to stick to it. It was so good and so well-executed that maybe some other fortuitous circumstances could result from it, like a lucky find?

Jyvress will wait until the foreman appears distracted and then move to the closest lift droid.

Hearing the sound the foreman looked up toward the containers, merely scanned it for any trouble and looked back at his desk. A few sweat-worthy moments later and he groaned, knowing he had to do a better job than that. Slumping his shoulders he picked up a glow-rod and started walking over toward the crates.

However.. Fuff had already made it out, and when banging one of the crates to distract the guard some finery: a very elegantly crafted cup fell into his hands. Having caught it with some wonderfully cat-like reflexes.

Now.. now it was just a matter of getting the droid on their side: [Hard vs applicable skill, Computers, Skullduggery, etc.]

Jyress used her chance and hopped up to the lifter droid. Popping open its program console she added a few extra tasks. "Sorry about this friend..."

Finishing up, she closed up the panel and patted the droid then returned to Fuff.

It was a major success, and though the droid didn't quite know it yet it had new orders that were going to be very different than they usually were.

Fuff was there, waiting for her in safe distance from the foreman, with two paws cupped... around a beautiful cup. "I have a small gift for you, a token of my appreciation for your good ideas."

Jyvress blinks at the offer, "I was not expecting a souvenir....but thanks." She gingerly accepts the cup, "It's very beautiful...but before waxing poetically let's make our way out of here."

She pats him on the shoulder, "Also we have ourselves a droid. Your distraction worked marvelously."

[Fuff]

"It makes me think we're quite good at doing such things together." The Farghul crinkled his nose in a smirk as he was on the way out. "Well done, Mrs BB."
