Today is the day, rain washes over the earlier parts of the day. Making logistics a nightmare for both sides. Throughout the day skirmishes take place but it's during the Mid-Afternoon slot that things suddenly take an upscale when the resistance comes out in full force to take the Spaceport. Capturing this vital connection to the other nearby systems the Empire scrambles to recapture the tower.

Their own communications, seemingly, dealt with by another unseen force.
