A couple of ways I can imagine people having formed connections with Roxi:

• Roxi is from Raxus Prime; unlikely someone else is as well, but throwing it out there just in case.
• She's got ties to pirates; pretty bad people; but not the worst of the worst. Anyone involved with piracy or general underworld stuff on the Outer Rim might've run into a strange girl running with pirates.
• Or maybe just ran into her out on the outer rim even if you have no ties to such things!
• Since coming to Kamda, she's been living among the dregs of society, sometimes seen scavenging, other times getting involved in things like bar brawls.
