"I probably should find a place..." Manny said thoughtfully. He shook his head. "But no. Really. It's okay."

He smirked at Raven. "Tell you what, you wanna make it up to me, buy me lunch. You in the mood for anything? I know all the best places. Or..." He waved a hand. "Or sometime, if you're busy today. Whatever."

Manny tilted his head, looking at her. "I didn't think you'd worry about this sort of thing." He smiled. "I guess you're a good person, huh?

She nodded, willing to accept that compromise. "Alright... Yeah, I can do that." Clearing her throat, Raven took a deep breath.

"I don't know if I'm a good person or not, it's not something I think about too much, Manny. It's just... I know what it's like to not have much."

Rising from her seated position, she took a moment to dust off the grass and dirt.

"Yeah, I guess we've got that in common, huh?" Manny said, smiling gently. "But don't worry. I've got some money coming in. Maybe not making it big money, but pretty good."

He rose to his feet, likewise brushing himself off. "Well, let's see about lunch. And we can talk about that band! I gotta get a new harmonica..."
