One of Those Nights [Pre-game]

[Leah kuso]

"I know." she says with a smile as she takes the other woman's hand "I'm Lysa, I come here to relax sometimes, it's always interesting to watch you girls work. Especially since you look so good doing it." she said with a chuckle "But no it's really the confidence I like more than how good you look, you're in control up there when you're dancing that's your stage." she said with a slightly contemplative tone.

"Buy you a drink? or you have more dancing to do?"

Leah smiled at the compliment.

"Always nice to meet someone who appreciates the work, most just stare. I enjoy the dancing, it's a lot of fun. You ever tried it?"

she peeked upwards at seemingly nobody in particular, before looking back at Lysa.

"I got a little time, and never say no to a drink. Can't promise you anything in return but my charming smile and sweet company. Or secretly dedicating the next dance to you" she laughed.

[Fuff]

"Is it as frigid as the planet, or more temperate? I have no idea, I wouldn't know where to look for it on an astromap." He tapped the rim of his glass with the claw-armed finger. "Farrfin has several climatic zones. I used to live in the cooler one, but still had seasons."

[Lysa]

Leah smiled at the compliment.

"Always nice to meet someone who appreciates the work, most just stare. I enjoy the dancing, it's a lot of fun. You ever tried it?"

she peeked upwards at seemingly nobody in particular, before looking back at Lysa.

"I got a little time, and never say no to a drink. Can't promise you anything in return but my charming smile and sweet company. Or secretly dedicating the next dance to you" she laughed.

"Never for money." she said with a mischievous grin to the blue lady as she turns to the bartender and orders herself a magic mojito and "Whatever for my new friend."

After he delivered their drinks Lysa shakes her head "Of course, if i'm spending time with someone I want it to be because they want to not because they feel like they have to." she says with a bright smile as she drink her blue drink that slowly shifts between purple, green and back to blue.

[Lassa Tenro]

“Pantora is rather cold. Much colder than here.” She replied with little emotion.

“What brings you to Kamda?”

[Fuff]

"Necessity. At the last spot I overstayed my welcome." He said coyly, but with a smile. "You, what has brought you here from Pantora?"

[Lassa Tenro]

She paused for a moment, “It has been quite a spell since I was in Pantora. I came here a couple of years ago from the core. I was part of a cohort of functionaries sent to assist the governor in his new duties.”

[Fuff]

There was a brief wave stirring the fur along his spine, and a corresponding pause. "...That explains Core features of your way of speaking." He seemed more careful. "Do you like your job here?"

"Never for money." she said with a mischievous grin to the blue lady as she turns to the bartender and orders herself a magic mojito and "Whatever for my new friend."

After he delivered their drinks Lysa shakes her head "Of course, if i'm spending time with someone I want it to be because they want to not because they feel like they have to." she says with a bright smile as she drink her blue drink that slowly shifts between purple, green and back to blue.

"Just a pleasure dancer then, got it" Leah said with a wink, turning to the barkeep and saying "I'll have the same as her."

She didn't want to say 'I've never had it because it's too expensive'. Just went with the flow.

"I don't get the choice in the matter. Need to pay off the debts somehow right?" the Twi'lek shrugged, her Lekku moving in a 'what can you do' motion "but I at least enjoy it. And no worries, I'm here for the company and the free drink" she chuckled "plus you actually seem to want to talk for reasons other than the normal. I kinda like that."

She picked up her very colourful drink, sipping it before adding "What do you think of this place? I've been here for a while now and every night still catches me out for a few moments, the atmosphere is always perfect."

[Lassa Tenro]

"It can be rather taxing at times... But helping contribute to the betterment of society is a noble enough cause to invest oneself into." She replied.

[Fuff]

"And how do you know it's betterment what you do in your job?" The Farghul smoothed the whiskers.

[Lassa Tenro]

"How does one know anything? Perhaps we all live in an illusion. Perhaps we are all figments of each other's imaginations." She replied with an obviously ironic tone and a lift of her hands up to bar level and a feigned mystical waving of her fingers.

She took a sip from her drink slowly and coolly, "Or perhaps waxing philosophically on the virtue of my work and its contribution to society is perhaps the antithesis of the reprieve I seek by coming to an establishment such as this."

[Fuff]

"This living in illusion thing might well be true. But having happy delusions despite some uglier realities might be the best we can get, so why not?" He shrugged, smiling. "I have mixed experiences with various authorities acting for my betterment, hence the doubt. Still, sorry for that, let's leave it at that." He calmed his tail that batted once, semi-nervously.

"Any examples of happy thoughts that are actually good for your reprieving? For me it's music, quite obviously. But also nice landscapes. And funny stories. Or silly banter."

[Lysa]

Lysa laughed "Pleasure, fun, just feeling like it." she said before she shrugged

"It is what it is. Was my parents debt before mine, but they're...not around to pay it anymore" she waved a hand to dismiss the thoughts "offworld travelling huh? I'd love to one day leave this planet and see the rest of the galaxy, but it seems really dangerous out. Not that it isn't dangerous here too, but at least it's calmer right?"

She paused, adding "what do you think has changed? All feels the same to me."

"Could I ask for some tips on good things to do at home then?" He chuckled. "Guess point one is: have one."

"Not a bad place to start." She said with a smirk.

"A bit of music. Perhaps a bit of a show on the holly."

"Let me guess. You like those with forensics in them." He smirked back.

[Lysa]

"Will you dance for me sometime" Leah asked with a curious look "I want to see it now."

She took a sip of her drink, before shrugging.

"It is what it is. Was my parents debt before mine, but they're...not around to pay it anymore" she waved a hand to dismiss the thoughts "offworld travelling huh? I'd love to one day leave this planet and see the rest of the galaxy, but it seems really dangerous out. Not that it isn't dangerous here too, but at least it's calmer right?"

She paused, adding "what do you think has changed? All feels the same to me."

Lysa thought for a moment "hmmm maybe, though I typically only do that before moving onto more........exciting activities." she says waggling her eyebrows dramatically before laughing fairly loudly "Ahh get a few more of these in me and we'll see where things go."

She looked around "New faces, I don't remember seeing fuzzball over there singing, new girls, like I said it all feels the same but its little stuff you notice after being gone."

Lysa thought for a moment "hmmm maybe, though I typically only do that before moving onto more........exciting activities." she says waggling her eyebrows dramatically before laughing fairly loudly "Ahh get a few more of these in me and we'll see where things go."

She looked around "New faces, I don't remember seeing fuzzball over there singing, new girls, like I said it all feels the same but its little stuff you notice after being gone."

Leah laughed. "Oh, that kind of dancer! Now you really have my curiosity" she winked at the woman "and yeah, a bunch of girls had to go recently. Never learnt why, I know not to question the boss though, she does what she does. As for the singer, he's very new. I think the boss is just testing the waters, not sure it's going to be a commonplace thing but it's a new appeal right?"

She sighed.

"If I could stay for more drinks I'd love to. My break isn't long enough for that, so this one will be my limit sadly" she did sip it though "but thanks."
