Looking to the Future:
Looking to the Future:
The second installation of the Kamda based series, when it runs, will be focusing on the direction that Nerra is looking to take it. While two factions formed the majority of support went to his faction, and over time these two factions will join together but an unsolved schism remains.
While Deera and her people prepare their own plans elsewhere, Nerra and his people are looking to a neighboring planet while Kamda is experiencing a tumultuous storm of Imperial activity. Goal being to locate and support the grass-roots resistance on the planet Bellionas.
Posting this here, without much fanfare, as to not disrupt currently ongoing games.

Re: Looking to the Future:
Unlike the people of Kamda, the people of Bellionas have suffered hard and long. They are not a people who have hope. First it was the Republic, pushing them toward the Confederacy of Independent systems. Secretly the people of Bellionas fabricated ships for use in the Confederacy's war effort but come near the end of the war this deception was discovered and responded to by the Republic. Clone Troopers with their Jedi generals took key points in the city, holding them to gain control of the orbital shipyards encircling the planet. Holding the planet, and it's people, under watchful eye with the promise of releasing them at the end of the war. However, this end never came as the Empire replaced the Republic and the occupying force became the foundation of the subjugation of the Bellionasian people.
Early on there was some resistance, fighters who believed they could free their people, but they ultimately failed in their goal. Without much hope to be freed from their suffering the majority of the Bellionasian people have focused on learning how to live under the Imperial regime. Citizen's work is mandated by the governmental body through permits. They are responsible for maintaining the shipyards to ensure the Imperial war machine is ready for further conflicts in the Outer Rim. Head of this sector is a moff by the name of Malavai Rosim who manages the sector from a large central tower built into the city which is heavily restricted without the proper permits.
Tone:
The Bellionasian people lack hope, and are unlikely to get it. Their planet is bleak and colorless, the vibrancy and image of who they were is largely lost to those living there now. Still, a small group of rebels hopes to change this state by reinvigorating the spirit of the people against all odds. However, they are actively hunted by the Imperial presence and have even the misfortune of gaining the attention of Agent Alder Divo and one of his counterparts in Intelligence.
This campaign will be a touch more "grim" in it's tone, getting into that dim future of what Kamda and much of the Empire "could become."
Expectations:
This is following the line with the covert faction, meaning more covert and less overt action. Spy characters will find their niche here.
Other related characters such as thieves and the like may find their ability and drive to join the resistance in this game as well. You are the outsiders come to Bellionas to help but it is a bleak city that wants little of what you've come to offer, save for the few members of the resistance that those following Nerra's guidance have been sent here to make contact with.
Ultimately, there will always be the side-plots, so don't be afraid to invest in those as well. Expected side-stories involve: Mandalorian, Criminal (Heist, think crew on a job), Corporation, Force Sensitive's (Dark* and Light), and Criminal (Underworld, Vex, big boss lady and her plans)
*Dark side may be different from what you may normally expect. It will still be heavily Anti-Empire.

Re: Looking to the Future:
Mara Kayde

Age: 23
Kayde is a family name many on Bellionas would know. When the Republic took control of their planet it was this family that spoke out against them. When the Republic became the Empire, their pleas to their fellow Bellionasian's only grew in strength. Many regarded the Kayde family as being the last one's truly keeping the heart of Bellionas alive, and this was their downfall. Six years ago the Empire finally cracked down on the demonstrations and radio the family operated. Arresting both of Mara's parents and her older brother for sedition against the Empire and leaving her an orphan in the care of a family friend.
Now a woman in her own right Mara has restarted the work of her parents. With a small group of those closest to her she's restarted the radio her parents once operated. Together her and her group have restarted working against the Empire in the small ways they can, hoping to reinvigorate the spirit of their people to shrug off their Imperial masters.

Re: Looking to the Future:
Sera

Age: 38
Often near Mara's side the woman is a vigilant and stalwart companion. Having once been friends with the girls parents she's looked after her ever since they were taken. Ensuring the security of their small band of rebels Sera finds herself often busy and overworked, but she rises to the challenge each and every time. Sera speaks sparingly and is the only one to carry a sidearm everywhere she goes.

Re: Looking to the Future:
The Wraith Sisters
- Minn and Iris

Having risen to power a year ago within the Hutt Cartel, Vex has established herself solidly on Kamda despite the increase in Imperial presence. A woman with a taste for control Vex has set her sights on Bellionas. Sending the Wraith Sisters, twins who rose from within Vex's ranks to a position of power, onto the planet to see the local criminal elements pacified.
Freelancers on Bellionas wait patiently for the contracts that are likely to follow the sisters arrival. While their enemies are preparing their defenses and contacts. With a history of professionalism and cold-blooded violence their shadow weighs heavy on the gangs of Bellionas.
[NPC Contact: Characters who are willing to get their hands dirty for a few credits will find ample risk and reward on offer from these twins.]
