"Do ya think they did this?" Varina asked. She then shrugged and looked back towards the Enclave. "What's the play? We could... sneak around? Maybe get my money back?"

"Kriff your money, kid. Move! Get unseen back to the Enclave." Raven commanded the younger Mandalorian in their native tongue, feeling she needed to take charge of her younger sister here.

She had every intention of letting Varina get a head-start.

If Varina had other plans was a completely different matter though.

[I'll say Alleyway, or inside a factory that's currently not operational. Either way, feel free to knock something over to get in their path.]

"You ever think it'd be smarter for us not to identify ourselves through our armor?" Varina asked before donning her hood and mask. She crept back and looked for what she believed to be the best sneaking route.

Varina may attempt a Stealth at Average to escape while Raven's actions draw attention.

Raven went for body-slamming a big dumpster, to tip it over and block the incoming trooper's path to start with. Maybe even give them some garbage to slip in if they rushed at the two Mandalorians.

"Better keep up," Varina said, which was the cool, tough girl version of, "You better not get hurt." She ran off into the night. It reminded her a bit of her time escaping Mandalore. Keeping low, knowing when to act natural, just for a moment. Looking out for objects, both that she could trip on or knock over...

One of the troopers got up to the dumpster, leaned over, and fired a few blaster shots that didn't immediately connect while the other started to clamber over. From beyond the dumpster she could hear more boots on the ground as storm troopers filled in behind them.

With the moment to do so, she'd see that on the other end of the way another Stormtrooper looked to the left and waved. Raising his blaster he started to move toward Raven!

[Average to Shoot, or Attack to buy some time or, with how close he is, Hard to escape with a Challenge dice.]

Fear. It was rearing its ugly head. Varina was a Mandalorian, her sister-in-arms, so she had to have faith that she was able to give them the slip. Her hand went for her blaster, and then... she changed her mind and made a run for it herself, in another direction than Varina.

Raven found a way out, in a different direction, but came up to a wall of an awkwardly shaped warehouse. However, right beside her was a door and it would only take a quick jab to break open the lock for someone of her caliber.

However, she had to keep fast as one trooper from each side met in the middle and were right on her tail!

[You may attempt another roll, breaking the lock would effectively be a "manuever" while trying to escape inside the warehouse would be an "action". Of course, you may also now buy time with a quick Easy ranged attack.]

The door was an obvious one, but she had no idea what awaited inside, or if there would be an escape by going that way.

Quick thinking. Quick thinking! Reaching down for her blaster, Raven remembered some of her gear... and it gave her an idea. But it was probably a surprise to the troopers that she turned as she pulled out two guns. Hopefully they wouldn't see that one of them wasn't a blaster, but an ascenscion-gun.

Flicking the setting to stun, she fired off a couple of blasts towards the charging Imps.

Technically double-maneuver to draw both guns, so 2 strain taken I guess. :D

Both of them, hit by the stun blasts went down with a thud. However, a group of about four came running around the corner immediately after. Raising their blasters and firing at the Mandalorian, though the movement with the range made quite the number of their shots go wide.

Ascension gun to the roof is go!

[If Athletics check required, if I recall right, it'd just be base Average. Otherwise, ascend away!]

Raven raised her arm with the ascenscion gun, pointing it away from the troopers and with a quick glance saw where to aim. From pure muscle memory, fear-fuelled adrenaline, and a good chunk of luck, she fired off the gun - which hit its mark.

She was forgetting for a moment the extra weight from her newly acquired blaster rifled early that night though, so it wasn't as speedy as she had hoped for...

Raven ascended up, blaster bolts trailing behind and around her as they opened fire. None making their mark but just as she reached the top a bolt cut through the cord and for a split second Raven was in free-fall and off pure instinct she grabbed the roof and was able to lift herself up onto it. Bolts followed her up for a few more rounds but then she could hear their words talking about circling the building and finding her.

Raven, however, knew she was in the clear. Shame about the wire though.. it'd take a little effort to when she got back to re-set one but easy enough when she got home.

The fear abated some as she made it safely to the top and they didn't seem to have a way to follow. "Ori'buyce, kih'kovid, hut'uun!" she shouted down at them mockingly, even if they probably didn't understand a word she said.

Then backing out of sight on the rooftop, Raven began to set a roundabout course back to the enclave, keeping herself up high for a good while. She'd spend a good while making sure she wasn't being followed. It would be a bad start to her life as part of the group if she dragged a bunch of these assholes after her.

From up above Raven could hear the Imperial boots moving all about the area. What was clear to each of the Mandalorians is that the Empire was back in Kamda city and they came with a ferocity. How they came here...

Alder Divo stood above two of the guards the Pyke had protecting him. A stormtrooper briefed him, "Sir, these two stayed behind to hold our troopers back while the others escaped. They killed one of our men, sir. One of them has been wounded by a blaster bolt, but we've patched them up.

"Thank you, soldier," Alder Divo said, twirling around the matchstick. "These men were left behind because they will offer us no testimony we would want, find them a nice cell and be done with it."

"Of course, sir!" the soldier reported and moved over to brief his fellows.

Looking up to the rooftops Alder Divo thought for a moment, twirled the matchstick, "Wonder where you are.. won't have a name, so I guess you're lucky today, but we'll find you," he spoke to the emptiness of the night. Then walked off to his next job.
