Kamda

Lysa bounced up to the still rather destroyed club to meet with Vex. She looked around seeing if the boss lady was in her office or somewhere else in the ravaged venue. She wasn't a huge fan of Mallory but Wet Blanket was a constant and constants were something that Lysa valued in her world of self made insanity, not that she would ever admit it to the woman.

Vex stood in her office, looking down over the reconstruction efforts down below. Men in suits were a given, each of them heavily armed as they watched and listened. Though.. even Lysa could tell these men were those who served under Mallory and they felt her absence more than any other.

Notably, the window seemed a different tint than usual.

That she already got this far.. no one was there to check her at the door.

Lysa knocked on the door before cracking it open and poking her head in, violet eyes looking at the boss lady "Hey vex! uh you got a minute?" she asked before fully entering the office

Vex didn't answer, but she didn't say no, just looked out the window down below at the men working.

uhhhh ok then Lysa thought to herself as she slowly entered the room, this was a mood and not a good one. "Uhh well hey boss I just uh wanted to come by and see if you needed any help with the uhh Mallory situation." she said slowly knowing she was likely treading on dangerous waters.

"Ah.." she said, looking to the glass. Putting a hand on it, running a finger along it. "Yes, her absence has been.. unfortunate," she said, her voice sounded.. insidious.

her tone wasn't lost on Lysa but she pressed on "So you want help lookin for her, I know you got a lot on your plate with the Hutts and all but I could put ears out see what I find, enlist some good hunters see if we can track her down. Not my area of expertise but I think I know some who can help."

"Would you?" she said, a devilish smile. "That would.. be quite beneficial. I'll pay you for the work, of course," she said.

"Of course, Me and We..Mallory never saw eye to eye but she seems like an important piece of this operation. Its in my best interest for this place to keep running so ya know if I can help out I will."

"Oh, my dear," she said, turning to Lysa. "You have nothing to worry about there. This place will keep running, in fact, my plan is already in motion. Given some more time we'll be set up for.." she smiled, "well, we'll have gained a far larger operation than we had before."

"Well you're just as cryptic and mysterious as ever boss. But hey you'll tell me what I need to know when I need to know it." Lysa was a good soldier in that she didn't ask too many questions just did what Vex asked and as long as she got paid on time she didn't much care what it was. Within a few limits.

"I shall, don't you worry," she said with a smile. Walking back to her desk. "Is there anything else I can help you with dear?"

"S'pose not. We should get a drink sometime when you're not super busy tearing down criminal organization and running your own." He said as she practically bounced to the door.

Lysa fluttered her fingers at Vex "byeeee~" she said as she slipped out back into the club.

Vex smiled as she watched the girl go. So much to do... so much to plan..
