One of Those Nights [Pre-game]

[Fuff]

Vocal performances were not common at the Lux, but it was one of those nights when the management thought it fancy. And so there was a Farghul singer, seen here before in the capacity and somewhat appreciated, returning to deliver some mood-setters.

[Leah kuso]

What was less unusual was the dancers - or one in particular. Leah, dressed very skimpily in a simple black tight top and skirt, slowly moved to the music, an inviting smile on her face to keep eyes on her. She kept her movements in time to the music, helping to bridge the gap between the normal dancing and the less normal vocal performances.

[Fuff]

Fuff, having experience with it, took note of the dancers' regime and adjusted tone, pace and theme to what regulars would expect.

At one point when Leahs back was to the audience, she gave the Farghul a slight nod. She liked this more, it felt more fitting, and she could easily dance to this

Fuff responded with a brisk smirk, then continued, slipping into sensuousness in discrete fractions of tones.

Lysa sat in a corner of the club wearing just her white tank top and leathar pants, accompanying jacket slung over the booth. Drink in hand listening to the music and watching the lovely Leah do what she does. But mostly she was watching the effect she had on the crowd.

That was the main draw to clubs like this to her the dancers were beautiful but lust didn't sway her the way it did many others but watching the way she enraptured a crowd was fascinating.

At the changing of the dancers Leah slipped through the back, taking advantage of the focus on the dancers to go round to the bar and get some water. She was fine with the heat, but hydration was important!

Fuff's gaze was venturing across the audience, maybe stopping briefly at those women who stood out this way or another, mostly with their beauty.

[Lysa]

At the changing of the dancers Leah slipped through the back, taking advantage of the focus on the dancers to go round to the bar and get some water. She was fine with the heat, but hydration was important!

Lysa stood and slung her jacket over her shoulder making her way to where the dancer was hydrating up.

"Well you certainly had them eating out of your hand, as usual." She quipped as she leaned against the bar and threw her head back turning to look at the twilek girl.

[Leah kuso]

Leah tilted her head to look at the familiar voice that spoke, a smile on her face.

"I'll take that as a job well done then. Enough for a lovely girl to come and give me praise in person as well, so I'll take it" she turned fully to face the woman, offering a hand "I've seen you a few times here but don't think we've actually spoken, I'm Leah."

[Lassa Tenro]

An azure-skinned woman walked into the bar that evening. She found a seat at the bar and placed herself down at it quietly. The singing and dancing seemed to weave and permeate around her, for where she was it almost seemed as if there was a cool lingering air which wrapped around the woman. She asked for a drink, something cold and icy that went down smooth... and sat facing the bar in silence as she swirled her drink between sips.

[Fuff]

Making use of the statutory break, not long after Leah's when the spirits were getting heated over dancers' motion rather rendering the ambience a bit redundant, the Farghul went down to the bar; the drinks were prohibitively expensive but he could have one or two as part of the agreement, and his vocal chords needed some oiling.

He had noticed the taciturn Pantoran; she looked like she could handle herself pretty well, there was something about her self-enclosed demeanour that projected indifference to having to turn down pick-up lines her looks seemed to be meriting in a place like this. It's not that Fuff felt like giving it a shot at whether her lone presence was an opening for more involved company; he just gave in to his curiosity the blue lady had sparked.

He sat near enough and ordered a Dancing Ortolan, a mixture of a blue vermouth and something stronger he didn't identify because he wasn't that good at knowing expensive alcohols.

"Do you have a favourite song for occasions like this?" That was indeed the subject of his curiosity, distilled version.

[Lassa Tenro]

She turned her head slowly to look at the newcomer and then tilted it slightly back in the opposite direction.

"Anything that helps the mind unwind itself, I suppose. Long hours at work tend to require a bit of a reprieve afterwards."

She took a cultured sip of her beverage.

"You sing here often?"

[Fuff]

"Every now and then. I sing almost every evening, just at different places. It's a thing to get by on."

The Farghul was drinking carefully himself, not just for the sake of mores, he wasn't that good a drinker. He was quick to get tipsy, which was funny at the beginning, but then he was getting disoriented and was all about 'what's happened to me?'.

"So, what song can give you that reprieve once I am back up there?" He was not staring even though she seemed more interesting than the glass shelves on the other side of the counter.

[Lassa Tenro]

She pulled up her bag and set it on her lap for a moment. She then pulled her datapad out and began tapping on it.

She turned it towards the Farghul and revealed a song's information on her music player:

She looked at him with a lowered eyebrow, "Probably not the most frequent request around here."

[Fuff]

Fuff chuckled, having read the information. "It could work a bit later into the evening, no in the heat of the moment like right now." He glanced toward the dancers, but it was more of an excuse to look at her in a glimpse. "I think I know this one."

He started humming, quietly but melodically.

It was all rather charming, though the song's lyrics didn't amount to any wooing, tapping more into melancholia and self-reconciliation.

She smiled softly once he finished and took a sip of her drink.

"It's a lovely song and performed immaculately... But the version you are aware of was obviously written by someone who has never seen Plutonia's Sea. There's no escaping winter by crossing Plutonia's Sea. Going up to the stars... sure, you can get away from the winter. But Orto Plunonia is nothing but winter... Frozen sea for as long as anyone has known."

[Fuff]

"Songwriter's licence, I guess. Or maybe I mixed up something in the lyrics." He shrugged with a small smile. "I haven't heard about the place other than in song, like about many others. I suppose this is one way to travel the galaxy, with quite obvious shortcomings."

He glanced at her, having sipped his vermouth-plus. "Is it where you're from?"

[Lassa Tenro]

She kept looking toward the bar, "Pantora. It's a moon orbiting Orto Plutonia."

[Lysa]

Leah tilted her head to look at the familiar voice that spoke, a smile on her face.

"I'll take that as a job well done then. Enough for a lovely girl to come and give me praise in person as well, so I'll take it" she turned fully to face the woman, offering a hand "I've seen you a few times here but don't think we've actually spoken, I'm Leah."

"I know." she says with a smile as she takes the other woman's hand "I'm Lysa, I come here to relax sometimes, it's always interesting to watch you girls work. Especially since you look so good doing it." she said with a chuckle "But no it's really the confidence I like more than how good you look, you're in control up there when you're dancing that's your stage." she said with a slightly contemplative tone.

"Buy you a drink? or you have more dancing to do?"
