[Manny Donos]

Manny slowly edged closer...

He relaxed visibly as the credit became visible. "Hey, I'm happy to help out!" He said, grinning again. Picking up the credstick, he flicked it spinning into the air with his thumb. He caught it as it came down, then made it vanish with a flourish. "See, I told you I'd impress you one of these days, huh?"

[Vex]

"Yes," she smirked, "you managed to set the bar so low that this basic service was most impressive," he slipped back into her seat. Quite pleased with herself.

"Now, you may both leave and.." she looked to Varina, "I am here to help, when you find yourself with a need," she says before waving them off toward the door.

[Varina Ordo]

Varina peered, wondering if this guy was going to get murdered before ever having a girlfriend. She was a little worried, because she did like hanging out with him. To her relief, he was just given money.

"You better not expect me to pay you when you do something basic," she teased poor Manny 'No Girlfriend.' She then gave a mock, farewell salute to Vex. "Yup, we'll be in touch."

[Manny Donos]

Manny smiled. "Hey, I'll take it. Maybe I'll see if I can impress you even more next time, huh?" He inclined his head again, before turning to go.

"Sure it was easy." He said to Varina as they walked away. "But access isn't always easy to come by. I told you I could get you something, didn't I?" He smirked.

[Mallory]

"Ready to leave?" she asked, ready by the door.

[Manny Donos]

"Yeah." Manny said, smiling. "I get my cards back, right? And hey, I get to walk out on my own?" The smile turned into a grin. "This is a pretty good night."

[Varina Ordo]

"Oh yeah, my stuff." Varina smiled and held out her hands expectantly. Well, they might not have left yet, but that didn't keep her from bird braining at this time.

"With me," Mallory said, walking them out of Vex's office. While she attended to gather their things Varina would see it just as it was too late to avoid dodging.

"Varina Ordo," one of the Pykes said, there were three of them. Two flanking the one at the center who spoke. "We have details of a debt to discuss," he said, their hissing quality of their voice notable in ever sentence.

[Varina Ordo]

"If this is a good night for you, then I don't want to see an average one," Varina jabbed at Manny 'No Girlfriend.' She had a smug look, well, one more than usual, until she saw what sort of trouble she was walking into.

"Oh crud." She looked over to Manny 'No Girlfriend' and then back to the Pykes. "He has your money."

"Does he now," the Pyke said, turning his piercing gaze over to Manny. "1250 Credits is what she owes, does she speak true? Do you hold this girls money for us?" he said, grinning his small grin.

[Manny Donos]

Manny looked back and forth between the two.

"Uh... what?" He said innocently, before turning a glare on Varina.

[Varina Ordo]

Varina nodded. "Well, not here, but the two of us are about to get it for you." She finger gunned at Manny. "This guy even has a girlfriend to help spot us."

[Honor]

The Pyke in the middle stepped forward, his voice a bit of a grumble, "You have two days, two days to bring us our credits," he stepped back once smiling, "or you'll find you have many more problems."

[Manny Donos]

"Hey, no problem." Manny said, smiling again. "We're on it. Just gotta work out a few last details, and it'll all be good."

He kept his gaze steady on the guy, careful not to shoot Varina a questioning look.

"You better be or-"

"That's enough, get lost," Mallory said, stepping up with their things. Glaring down at the Pyke in the center.

The Pyke looked viciously at Mallory and then Manny and Varina. "Two days," he said before signalling those with him to follow him out.

Turning to Varina and Manny Mallory started handing them back their things, "Pay them off. Be done with it," she offered.

[Varina Ordo]

"Yup," Varina said, taking back her stuff gladly. If she had had it then, maybe she would have...

She shrugged. "Shall we get going, partner?"

[Manny Donos]

"Partner, huh?" Manny chuckled okay. "Sure..."

He turned to her, frowning. "Except you wanna tell me who those guys were, first?"

[Varina Ordo]

"You don't know who the Pykes are? They're a pretty big deal, one of the big crime groups." Varina rocked in her feet, not really taking in the gravity of the situation. "My mom used to work with them so that's how I know them. I thought they'd be cool since they knew my mom with just transporting me here but now they want money."

[Manny Donos]

"Okay, okay..." Manny chewed his lip thoughtfully for a few moments. "So, do you actually have a plan for paying them off? Or was that just something to get them off your back for a moment?"

[Varina Ordo]

"Uh," she said, "I guess the latter? You seem to be the type to know what to do. Should I pay them or should I, uh, beat them up?"
