Leah looked at the man pinned down with a weapon on him. She didn't like this, killing in cold blood. At the same time though, she knew they'd kill her without a second thought. They'd kill everyone in the place, the Hutts were not to be messed with.

At the command, she lifted the gun, aiming for the mans head to at least make it a clean kill, and fired

Mallory grinned when the light of the blaster made the room just a bit bright for a moment, the Weequay dropped dead before he had a chance to protest much. Letting his body hit the floor Mallory looked to one of her men and shrugged, then looked at Leah and nodded. Acceptance.

Vex, meanwhile, slid her hand down Leah's arm and brought the blaster lower. Grabbing it by the barrel and shifting it behind her back and out of Leah's hands. "You did good, darling," she said, faux-sweetly. "You did good."

Leah put up no resistance as the weapon was taken from her, looking at the limp body of the man she'd just killed. How easy it was to do was rather terrifying, and it was taking her a few moments to register. When Vex spoke, she nodded.

"Thank you" she said quietly, not sure if it was a good thing or not "what happens now? They'll suspect something is wrong when their men don't come back right?"

It was only then that she registered that the gun was gone, and she looked at Vex.

Vex looked her in the eye, close as to keep her attention on her. Mallory walked behind the both of them and then shifted away.

"They'll suspect something is very wrong when that Nikto comes running, screaming back to them about what I said," he confirms, shifting Leah away from the bodies. Keeping her tone soothing and comforting. Holding Leah a little, her arm stretched over the womans opposite shoulder as they walked a little.

"When they do come.. we'll be ready, and we'll show them that trying to take over Kamda will not be as easy as they think. You'll be able to help me with that," she said, with a smile. "First.. I'll need some heavy hitters, people that are good in a fight. Something you can do for me, right darling?"

"I can find some people. There's a few that I've spoken to that are the adventuring type, and we have a lot more offworlders visiting lately" Leah commented thoughtfully "I..I can help, but I don't have a weapon nor training, so I'd need to learn. That was my first ever shot with a blaster."

She nodded after a moment.

"I'll do my best. They can't just come here and take over, it's not the way."

[Vex]

"Good girl," she said, brushing Leah's shoulder gently. Bringing her over toward the door. "Is there anything you need? Before I return to attending to matters.. well, related to this?"

"Hmm...do they know who works here? Is there a chance they might have had the place watched?" Leah said thoughtfully "do I need to get some kind of weapon protection?"

I do have that odd stun stick, but not sure that works against guns.

[Vex]

"They won't be able to focus on you just yet, dear, don't you worry," she brushes her shoulder a bit more. "You'll be protected, and when you need we'll get you able to protect yourself or I'll send one of my lovely suits with you to keep watch. For now.. now they'll focus on me, for the words I shared. I need a team though, to protect against that, offense as a defense," she smiled.

"Ok ok" Leah nodded "I'll see what I can find. I won't let you down Vex, I promise. They're not gonna take our home!"

She looked back at Mallory and the others.

"I still kinda want to learn how to use a weapon though."

[Mallory]

"Come by later," Mallory said, having one of the bodies hoisted off the ground. Holding him up under his arms. Dragging the corpse over toward the other one, and being careful not to get too much blood on her nice clean suit.

"I'll teach you a thing or two."

[Leah kuso]

"Uh, sure thing sir" Leah nodded "I'm on shift after this, I can come back at night? Although there's the night shift people. Where should I meet you?"

"Ma'am?" Mallory looked to Vex, who positioned herself off to the side slightly so that the two could talk. Vex waited for Mallory to finish dragging the body to the other and when she stood tall Vex answered, "Tonight, I will be here with our security. I shall be fine, if you so wish.."

Vex looked to Leah, "If you so wish, Mallory will be here for when you are done with your danceing tonight darling. She will follow you out and go wherever you please. Wherever it is you might accomplish what you are doing."

There was a nod. "Ok, I'll see you then. I know when the club is likely going to be the most...distracted, and can slip out then. I better go get ready for my shift now though. See you then" Leah gave them each a nod and a wave, her smile not quite as big as normal as she tried to process everything that had happened.

"Can I get my stuff back?" she looked to Mallory.

[Mallory]

"Yea," Mallory said, pulling the bundle from her inner jacket pocket as she walked over. Standing beside her she looked at the girl, woman to woman.

"Good job today," she said, earnestly.

[Leah kuso]

"Thanks" Leah nodded "you too. Like, really. I knew you were pretty scary to begin with but at least you're on the same side as me so it's scary good instead of scary bad" she smiled "now hopefully this mess can go away quickly. With you around I think it will too."

[Mallory]

"It's the job," she shrugged.

[Leah kuso]

"You do it well" Leah said with a nod "see you tonight. Unless there's anything else?" She peered over at Vex for a few moments

"You may go, dear," Vex said, that same faux-smile waiting for Leah.
