Over the course of the next year..
The resistance on Kamda made their dangerous play to push themselves off Kamda, the Empire was quick to respond. Admiral Cerasin, embarrassed by this outcome, was iron-fisted in his application of the new reforms Kamda was to face. Upon his return to Kamda he came with a not insignificant portion of his fleet. Reinforcing the garrison and quickly putting down any resistance. Many citizens were found to have aided the resistance in some form or another. All of those citizens selected out as having been contributors were quickly granted an extended stay at Bloc T:33.
Meanwhile, Nerra leave the planet with the resistance that falls under Deera, but quickly and quietly returns home to begin working on his next goal. Doing what good work he can from the shadows to give the struggling people of Kamda a chance at living under the direct oversight of the Imperial military "for their own safety." With the support gained in the days prior to the big event, Nerra is able to bring together a size-able under-ground network of operatives in the city. Allowing a way to get food and much needed supplies into the hands of those who need them. While also still being able to receive shipments and people from off-world. All it required was a few important contacts made in the right places and a size-able bit of remodeling in certain parts of the city.
Elsewhere, the resistance under Deera has evacuated to a remote planet near their original source on Kamda. From here the people under her work hard to bring a base up and running on the remote world Though she has plenty of people and support progress is slow. Specialists are in short supply as most of those whom aided their efforts previously decided to stay home, to help Kamda directly. While she was happy to allow them to support the cause where they could Deera is saddened by the toll it has taken on the base. Eventually they would be up and running.. but it would take time.
Of course, these are not the only stories that affect the future of the galaxy...
[Player Goals]
Leah Kuso:
Having found herself enveloped in the struggle between the light and dark the young Twi'lek is left with far too many questions, and not enough answers. Spending a considerable amount of time she invests herself into discovering more about this strange phenomenon that guides the galaxy referred to as the Force. Exploring both her connection to it as a force sensitive. Deepening her connection with it as a result.
Further, her attentions are directed backward, to the time of the Jedi. Naturally, despite what perhaps her inner desire might wish, because of her associations with only Jedi whom are willing to teach her about the force. Though they would certainly try to answer all the questions she might have, a Jedi alone could only offer so much knowledge, even two.
Nearing the end of the year she feels a compelling pull toward the temple she was shown by Tranq Sayzin. Toward what he found in there. Should she choose to follow it she feels the immense responsibility that would weigh on her shoulders...
Despite this personal journey, she learns some dark truths about her employer and holder of her debt. Ones that she might have to consider before she can allow herself on this journey forward.
Raven Cadera:
When Raven came to Kamda she almost didn't know enough about what she would find to hope. By the end, she found more than she could have ever hoped. Over the course of the next year Raven follows the Resol'nare. As all Mando'ade do she thrust herself forward into the next challenge, but into one that few Mando'ade find comfortable. As she and Praxton searched for a way forward in their personal lives they focused on the goals set before them. Together with the other Mando'ade she supports the rebuilding of their enclave on a new and vibrant world with little in the way of settlement. Out here they have room to grow. Over the time she is introduced to all the members of the enclave, those that were out on long assignments or hunts at the time of her arrival at the new enclave. When the enclave is in such a position as to afford it again she sets off into the wider galaxy on a personal mission. This time... one of redemption.
Seeking out the history of a man who aided in taking everything from her was the only path forward. Though it took time, credits, blood, and sweat, she eventually narrowed down her options to a choice few planets in the outer-rim. From a galaxy-wide haystack she'd created a net that she could work with.
Before she could set off on this journey, however, she needed to return home. Only the Mando'ade knew of the course of this part of her life near as fluently as her. Family and friends certainly would be welcome..
Solork Tan:
Solork's journey to this point met few of his expectations. However, he accomplished goals he scarce knew he would have. Once a man afraid of his past, afraid of what it meant and running from it in his every action. Solork Tan, the gank without a pack, was granted something once by a group of monks who followed the teachings derived from the force, alike to the Jedi. From a Jedi? Solork received the reminder that he must face himself before he can face any others, the dangers of the potential of what was unlocked within him. Though he struggled in his teachings at first he was a dutiful student, and one ultimately committed to his future.
Looking inward, as Cartess suggested, he was primed for the revelations on top of the mountain on that fateful day. Here, he saw inside himself clearly by seeing into another. What he found was.. desperate. Yet it emboldened him onto a new course, one that he was certain would finally grant him the answers he sought. Perhaps.. perhaps even the peace.
Spurred on by Cartess' reinforcement, her guidance, Solork set out into the galaxy to learn how to heal a Kyber crystal corrupted by the dark-side of the force and perhaps.. perhaps come to tackle the inner beast that may yet lurk inside. Learning how was only the start of this long journey and it would take him long to track down such sensitive information in an Empire so bleak, but he was resolved to this course and one day.. one day it would lead him onto the path forward.
Manny Donos:
Manny Donos was a kid from Kamda, one that grew up into a man eventually. However, if you asked his friends he hadn't gotten to that point just yet. However, Manny himself? Well, he'd have to answer that for you someday once he figured it out. What his story tells about him however...
Following the events of Kamda Manny didn't run far from home. In fact, he first tried his luck at something he was likely almost certain that he couldn't accomplish. Trying out for the Kamda City Manka Cats he was found, perhaps unsurprisingly, wanting. Shaking off this setback like any other he was approached on his way out of the stadium by Caydn. Apparently, Cayden was given a few credits to come track Manny down for Jarvis who had run from Kamda long before the fighting started. With some galactic coordinates in hand Manny was pointed on his way and found himself before the man himself in another spaceport half-way across the outer-rim. Offered with a job, and a debt, and a reward. Manny was given the opportunity, sign up with me long term and I'll finance you a ship.
A story too good to be true... almost.
Armed with limitless potential Manny was set up with a life that would take him far from home time and time again. However, he had the freedom to do what he wanted with his life on a scale he could have barely been able to comprehend back on Kamda. What did he do with it, you ask? Well, he never forgot the people back home. When he wasn't on call or working on a job with Jarvis he found time to return the favor to the people back from home. Running smuggling operations for the resistance who was yet fighting for Kamda's future.
Jyrvess Ertil:
Running from her past, and for good reason, Jyrvess came to Kamda to escape. What she found? Well.. she could certainly have never expected. Friends? Family? All of it and even more she found a purpose. One that she could follow, put her heart into, but she always knew she had to play it smart. Jyrvess came to believe in the people of Kamda, but even better came to believe that fighting against the Empire was the only way forward. All of this could have been possible in one dream or another, where the reality gets far stranger however? Well, she left Kamda not with the resistance but with the Mandalorians. Armed with association in their ranks that allowed her to gain herself a seat at their table Jyrvess was in a prime position to do what few areutii have ever done... convince Mandalore to alter his course.
Of course, this work would not be accomplished over the course of a day, let alone a year. However, she began the subtle stepping stones that would lead her there eventually. Learning of their people, their customs, and their language. Jyrvess lived with the Mando'ade for a time and for many of them even became a familiar face. Among the Mando'ade she was often visited by one in particular, aside from Raven of course. Kagr was a secretive man among the Mando'ade and she alone was given the knowledge of his past, his face. With it came something of a silent bond, one he put on more than she, and over time he was a great source of the knowledge she wished to discover about the Mando'ade. In fact, he was her primary teacher of the Mando'a.
Eventually she said she would leave.. but that decision had not yet had a chance to arise or matter over the course of a year which offered her much opportunity to learn, granting her an even slightly greater view of the galaxy as a whole by learning so deeply about the Mando'ade.
Jaxom Ursae:
A man who has seen it all before but under different masters, Jaxom Ursae came to Kamda with hopes. Hopes that lead him to caring for his fellow neighbor fully. When the resistance came around, came to full, he knew well where he was going to put his hand in. When the going got tough, Jaxom was ready to once more get going. In the aftermath of the fighting Jaxom was quick to work with resistance operatives to get them stockpiles of weapons and better yet ships. Using information he'd gotten from the computers at the spaceport he had a short-list of all of the ships with owners who weren't going to miss them, and maybe a few who didn't deserve to miss them too.
Adding these not insignificant resources to the resistance he was granted a chance, one with Deera and her people on their remote planet, and one from Nerra himself. Deera asked him if he would come on and see to being a quartermaster for her people. All he needed was a head for opportunity and a strict accounting. Meanwhile Nerra offered him a position in his operation. A safehouse he'd be able to keep in shape, keep safe.
What Jaxom would do, was up to him, but in either capacity the resistance grew considerably and his story was not only far from over but it'd only just begun.
(NPC oriented notations will come later, hands are tired.)
