"Kriff. Kriff kriff kriff. Kriff kriff kriff kriff kriff kriff kriff kriff kriff." Manny muttered as he walked along, hands in his pockets. Things had gone badly. Like, really badly.

He just had to hope that a little magic could fix it.

He stopped in the back alley just behind Lux, pulling out Raven's commlink. Paging through it, he found... one name in her speed dial. "Really?" Manny muttered. Shrugged, he activated it. "C'mon, pick up." He muttered again.

There was an answer on the comms but whoever was on the other side didn't say anything. They merely waited for whoever called to speak, although they certainly expected Raven's voice.

"Uhhhhhhhh..." Manny said. "Is this one of Raven's friends? Hopefully one of Raven's badass armor-wearing friends?"

He cleared his throat. "Hello. Manny here." He gave a vague wave, and then remembered that the commlink didn't have visual. He cleared his throat again. "Manny the magician." He added helpfully.

"What is this about?" came the confused voice of someone, for sure.

Vincenzo had watched the old bar for a while wondering if anyone would return for anything. It had been more then a bit surprising when that person ended up being Manny.

Trailing the other man for a while he finally left the rooftops trying to make his approach visible as the other man fiddled with something in the night.

"What is this about?" came the confused voice of someone, for sure.

"So, yeah, well, Raven's been taken. Arrested, I guess. By Imperials. She dropped her comm. I'm a friend, so I picked it up." Manny said.

He frowned at the comm. "You were the only contact in here. Are you, like, her boyfriend or something?"

"Where are you?" came the only response.

"I'm behind Lux." Manny said. He paused a moment. "So... is that yes on the boyfriend thing? I mean, I'm just curious. I'm not into her, if that's what you're thinking. Although I could use her legs. For my show, I mean, not just, like... uh..." Manny scratched his head. "Yeah, I'm behind Lux."

There was no reply and the connection cut.

Sighing, Manny turned off the comm. "Boring conversation anyway." He said. He tucked the commlink back in his pocket.

And then he waited.

"I wonder if he's gonna fly over here on a jetpack?" Manny said, looking up wonderingly.

Manny wasn't disappointed when he heard a flaring sound, one, two, three, four, Mandalorians landed on the roof-tops all in a square around Manny. Each of them looked down, the night sky behind them.

Finally a fifth came down directly into the alley and landed next to him...

"Which way did they take her? Speak areutii," he said, demanding.. concerned.

"Wow, you did take a jetpack!" Manny said, amazed.

He blinked. "Uh... I didn't see which way. But they said Bloc T33." Manny frowned. "If you don't know where that is, I could call someone who probably would."

"Please do," he said, standing there tall and proud, waiting.

Nodding, Manny pulled out his own commlink, calling Jyrvess.

Vincenzo was going to approach and see what Manny was up to. Soon though there were a whole pack of helmet heads around the other man, and he wasn't sure what to do.

Nodding, Manny pulled out his own commlink, calling Jyrvess.

After a moment the commlink stops beeping and a familiar voice comes over it, "This is Jyrvess....why are you calling me at this hour?"

"Oh, hey Vince." Manny waved. "Uh, don't worry guys, he's cool."

Manny paused as he realized the commlink was beeping. "Oh, hey Jyrvess. Uh... so you know Raven, right? So she got arrested by Imps, along with Lysa. Can you tell her Mando friends everything you know about Bloc T33, which I'm betting is a lot?"

He started to hand the commlink to Praxton, but then brought it back to his lips. "Oh, and see if he'll tell you if he's her boyfriend." He whispered. "I asked him, and he's being really weird about it. Just curious." Smiling as though nothing had happened, he handed the commlink to Praxton.

When Manny waved at Vince he looked over and slowly brought up a hand to wave. Turning back to Manny he hooked the commlink into his suits integrated comms.

"Speak, the matter is urgent," he said, his voice an even and serious tone.

Jyrvess's made an irritated grunt at Manny's question. She was about to lay into him about how this isn't a school yard game...but paused.

"Is this a secure line?"

In her slum hideout she was moving about gathering her stuff. Thank the force she wasn't somewhere worth compromising, if the Imps were listening Manny had just marked both their comms.
