[Raven Cadera]

Having slept throughout the morning hours, Raven had only gotten a chance to clean up her armor and weapons from last night. She knew she should try to work on her armor, to improve it further, but the inspiration just wasn't there.

Sitting outside the barracks with her armor in front of her and helmet off, Raven was playing a simple melody on her harmonica, to help find some peace of mind.

Clay walks in and takes him helmet off and sets in down on a table, with the Death Watch insignia facing away from Raven. "Yesterday was something..."

He moves a chair so he sit with her. He sits down in a chair facing her. He looks like he is a normal Mandalorian, not his not as perfectly attentive to his gear as he normally is. "How are you doing?"

Lowering the instrument away from her lips, Raven drew a long sigh and ran a hand through her messy black hair. "I dunno... better?"

She looked off to the side, fixing her gaze on nothing in particular. "I didn't think I'd meet someone like that here on Kamda. Someone who had taken part in my family's deaths... I was unprepared."

[Claymore Frost]

"Yeah, I was totally not prepared to deal with the memories of time on Arkania that came streaming back to me like this. My parents, the explosion... It was traumatic to say the least. Day after day looking though the briefcase, seeing a word like 'core sample' might set off more memories..." He waves a hand, then drops it back the his lap.

[Raven Cadera]

"It's... it's not just that. Death, rarely, if almost never, bothers me."

Her hand tightened around the instrument until her knuckles turned white. "He not only knew my father, but he had taken part in their deaths. This man, who's name I will never speak again, deliberately helped their murderer attain access to Concord Dawn for the purpose of murdering my family - and myself."

[Claymore Frost]

"Yes, it is a horrible act he did... I don't know what it's like to finally know who killed my parents. I can only guess who it might have been. And how you feel. And, I'm done a few wet work jobs, and I'm sure the families want answers like you have now. And, honestly, until I met me, I don't much care about honor. I did stuff no questions asked, as long as I was allowed to follow my passions." He is looking off the the left of Raven, looking like he's depth in thought.

He comes off of the thought, and sits forward and put's him arm to rest his head. "Sorry, I'm so analytical, and may come off like a droid, it might come off like I can't understand what you're dealing with. I'm not minimising your feelings."

"I do not kill children, Clay," Raven said harshly. "Not even Mand'alor could order me to do that."

She shook her head, managing to look at him. "Being analytical can be better than being emotional and impulsive. Though... even knowing that, I still would've done what I did yesterday. Again and again. What he offered me in exchange for his life, it would've been a great treasure to Mand'alor and this group." She paused before sighing again. "But I couldn't have accepted it in good conscience. It would've torn me apart, to know that... that Dar'manda was alive still. By my choice."

"But why don't you care about Honor, Clay?"

[Claymore Frost]

"Ok, first, I never killed kids. I'm not a savage. I may have sliced into a lift of some company and targeted a CEO and had it look like an accident when the lift dropped 60 floors at a high acceleration..." He puts him arms out in protest.

"How many Mandalorians work in racing? And I don't about how a bunch as random people think of me. I only care how friends and family see me." He goes back to resting head his arm. "I care about how you see me... And the rest of the people I have met since coning to Kamda."

[Raven Cadera]

"I didn't say you did, Clay." Though the Death Watch certainly had when they were a terrorist group.

Raven frowned. "Honestly - I don't know, Clay. How am I supposed to see you? Are you here to follow Mand'alor? Or are you here just to serve Wren and Vizsla, who are still on the side of Gar Saxon?"

[Claymore Frost]

"I'm here to serve by your side now, faithfully. Maybe that's not answer you're looking for, but that is what I give you. I don't give trust to many, but there is something about you..." He sits up up-hand and puts hands on his knees. "Just give me time to adjust here. It's been 2 weeks and I spent much of my time working on the contents by myself."

[Raven Cadera]

"That doesn't really answer any of what I asked," she said, not looking terribly impressed with the reply she got. "I don't need people to serve me. Mandalorians don't serve."

[Claymore Frost]

"Fine... I changed sides of this civil-war first gave you the briefcase. How you know where that puts me now? I'm sure that there are spies that have seen my helmet running around with you. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a bounty on my head now. Death Watch saved me, and I believe in Bo-Katan Kryze ideals. Not Clan Vizla." He throws his hand in air.

"I consider my sister. Yes, I can be inscrutable with things like this, but must of the time. Maybe I should get rid the Death Watch decal then. I was never your enemy. I may have been on the other side, but are fighting for the same things. I don't know what it will take for to know I'm sincere. I've been a good little for Mandalore since I met you. But, I'm starting to think you will never forgive me, because I wear a Death Watch decal on my helmet. I never did anything to you, your family or other Mandalorians."

Now it was Raven who held up a hand. "I never said you did, Clay," she spoke in an even tone, finding her will to sound calm yet authorative. "But it's hard to see where a Mandalorian's allegiances lie these days, as we are not all divided by clans or names. And as you say, you have been secretive and... inscrutible, which is not something that installs trust from others easily."

She sighed, and rose to her feet. "It's not a matter of me forgiving you, because as you say, you've done nothing against me. This is a matter of how you act like a Mandalorian, Claymore Frost. If you leave here, to continue to side with Mand'alor's enemies, I will accept that out of respect for the battles we have fought together. And I will face you on the battlefield when that time comes, with honor."

"Or you swear yourself to Mand'alor. And do what I advised you in the first days we met, which was that you would speak with Mand'alor honestly."

[Claymore Frost]

"I have never lied with you or any other Mandalorian here. I'm been most honest I've been with you, than I have for a long time. I will do as you say. But, know there trust in my line of work meant death. Both lines even... Black-spec and racing... But, I have been true to you since we met. Yes, I felt I lost honor in your eyes for a bit, but I have never lied to you, nor will I." He stands up.

"Ok, I can't guarantee dropping a hammer on your foot while I'm working on your armor, but I will never hurt you otherwise." He moves the chair back where it was. "So, armor upgrades?"

Raven crossed her arms over her chest, a pose she often assumed. Especially when she needed to think.

"I appriciate the offer, but... I feel I should put more effort into learning how to care for my own beskar'gam. It seems only right that a warrior should be able to do that."

She raised a hand to stop him from protesting right away. "It's not because I don't trust you, Clay. But this armor it... means a lot to me. It is a badge of honor to be permitted to wear it."

"But if you could give me a hand with my weapons, I would greatly appriciate it. I've been trying to upgrade my carbine, but it's not going anywhere."

[Claymore Frost]

"This is the way. Alright. Well, then how about I do that, and I can teach you what a few tips to help you out, then?" He looks pleased by her comment about her armor. "I should work on my gear too. It's so dirty!" To other people looks clear, but he's meticulous with his gear.

"I would appriciate that. Thank you," she gave a nod. Then a brief chuckle at his remark about his gear. "Clean armor and weapons are good, but a Mandalorian should have some marks of battle upon their armor!"

Picking up her GALAAR carbine, Raven undid some of the parts to show the chamber that had been installed on it. "This is what's called a Mandalorian Chamber - let's you use the stun setting while you still have it set on lethal. However, it's affecting the beam, reducing the range. I want to fix that. I like being able to hit my enemies from far away if need be."

"You can have both, ya know?" He laughs.

"Hum, that is weird..." He looks puzzled.

"Hmmm... I hope I haven't messed around with it too much earlier that made this happen. I tried to increase the strength of the stun-setting, and well... I never had much skill with this." She shook her head, but seemed to accept that this was an upgrade that would have to wait.

[Claymore Frost]

"Well, it looks like it might need better calibration. I know I'm the lord of the nerds in the Enclave, but sometimes may know it's easier than it is. Yeah, even machines make mistakes. So, don't get down on your skills like this. And, I was only going to upgrade you're first anyways, which you were going to help." He gives her a stern look while laughing.

Then he changing his tone. "Raven, ya know... It's weird how I stole a archaeologists briefcase, and now you know... um, a lot of new things you didn't know before yesterday. The Force is a mystery. And, I knew the one day we were at the shooting range, you would be big part of the things to come. Not says destiny, just something that makes you think."
