In the area by the barracks that had become kind of like a makeshift training grounds, Raven was going through her own training regimen. Normally she didn't have much trouble with push-ups or the like, but this morning she could really feel the trouble she had given her back yesterday.

Since it was in the safety of the enclave, she was going without the helmet as well as the armor, preferring combat pants and a solid tanktop instead. Wearing helmet and armor at all times was something she needed a break from.

Claymore walks in when he sees Raven. "Hello, Raven. I was thinking about target practice. I could use some, feeling a bit rusty."

"Claymore. Su cuy'gar," she didn't look up quite yet, as she finished a couple more push ups before getting back up on her feet. "I think they've put up some targets over here to shoot at. Nothing much, but better than shooting at trees, I guess. What's your preferred type of firearm then?"

"I prefer flamethrowers and Blaster pistols. What about you?" as he pulls my CDEF Blaster Pistol out look at it's perfect condition.

"I prefer to be right in my opponent's face, to be honest. Swords, knives, axes... take your pick," she said with a shrug and looked at his blaster. "But I'm a decent shot with rifles and pistols."

Raven took out her own holdout blaster from its holster. Which wasn't a very impressive pistol as such, with only some firepower and relatively short range.

"My blaster is in the condition it is in, because I'm rather O.C.D. about my gear and I am rather good with tech." he hostlers his gun, and asks "So, to the shooting range? And, which way?"

"'round the corner, over here," she waved for him to follow her as she led him to the other side of the barracks, out of the way of where people would walk, where a shooting range of sorts had been set up. Animal skulls or broken helmets served as target practice on a fence... kind of like shooting at cans back at a moisture farm.

"Never met many Mando'ade who say they're techies."

"Well, my race is genetically engineered, and I am from a long line of scientists and engineers. But, I like living of a Mando'ade. I enjoy speed and slicing into a locked door in a fire fight too." He shrugs as they continue walking.

"Your race?" she gave him a confused look, clearly not familiar with Arkanian off-shoots. "You mean... like the clone troopers?"

"Maybe a little bit. But, I had a mother and father like other races. We were slave labor for the Arkanian years ago to work in the mines. And, like the clones, we live a short live. So, I live my life to the fullest."

"Hm, mandokar." Even if she couldn't quite understand or relate to his view on it, she understood it nonetheless in her own Mandalorian way, and nodded approvingly.

With the targets infront of them, she gave her own blaster an inspective glance. "So how did you come to join the Mandalorians?"

"14 years ago, my parents worked for company as mining engineers. One day were many explosions at the facility and the surrounding areas including our apartment. I was out getting food when it happened. Everyone in the area died. And, I was taken to safety by a little group of Death Watch. I was old enough to stay there, but I choose to be a foundling and joined Clan Wren." He points to the top right of his helmet with the Death Watch logo.

"Losing your family," her face tensed, as did her voice, "that's rough." Perhaps it was better to lose them to an accident, she wondered and took aim at one of the targets.

"I know what that's like."

Raven fired a shot straight at one of the animal skulls, hitting it clean.

"Sith blood! Maybe I'm a lot rustier than I thought..." As the shot goes real wide of the mark.

Raven lowered her weapon, looking away from Claymore and at the targets instead, silent with her own thoughts for a moment. "My family was murdered."

"What's worse is that it was family that did it. Someone who is also a Mandalorian."

"Yeah, I know the Mandalorian climate can be vicious since Gar Saxon came to power all three times." He looks at Raven for a few seconds, then turning back, to aim again.

"I'm sorry for your loss." He puts his hand on she shoulder.

She breathed in deeply, nodding without looking at him. "Thanks... and I'm sorry for yours too."

Raven took a moment as she seemed to compose her thoughts and resolve again. As Claymore hit the target this time, she gave an approving nod. "Gar Saxon was part of the Death Watch too, no?"

"Yes, he was. But, he was ousted for being too bloodthirsty. He was kicked out before I came in to the clan." Clay sees at Raven, "You doing okay?"

Too bloodthirsty for the Death Watch sounded a bit like a joke to her.

"I'll be fine." She chuckled awkwardly. "Funny to think about it. My family was on the opposing side of the Death Watch, yet here we are now."

"Death Watch changed a lot with Bo-Katan Kryze as leader. They saved a lot of kids after the Galactic Civil War from rogue droid armies." Clay holsters his blaster. "And they found me..."
