"As much as I know, yeah." Was that a reason to think less of her? Or something else perhaps. Varina hadn't exactly lost her family like Raven had.
"I've only met her once so there's still much I don't know about her. But I think she has the spirit of a Mandalorian... she just might need to be tempered somewhat."

"Perhaps then.. that is it," he ponders, indicating a bunk by leading her to it. "You may make use of this bunk as you see fit. There is an armory to store arms and weapons, and I shall show you where that is as well. Beyond that we shall introduce you to the forge where you will be outfitted with arms and armor when you have proven yourself. We do not disturb the forge-master who has joined our cause unless we have need, and thus your introduction must wait. Have you a traditional helm?" he said.

At least she didn't have to go back into the slums to get her stuff from the cheap place she had spent the night. One of the benefits to not owning much and usually carrying it with you. Though the idea of finally having the proper arms and armor of a Mando'ade was almost an exhilirating one. One of the few things that brightened her thoughts and mood.
"I do..." it was one of the few things she had taken with her upon leaving Concord Dawn. "But... I usually go without." Raven hadn't passed her trials to become a proper Mandalorian, at least not that she knew of.
"Trying to evade Imps and... anyone who might've been on their side, or Vanito's. The helmet would make me stand out more than going without."

"I understand," he said, pulling off his own helmet he revealed his face. That of an man aging before his time, somewhere in his mid-thirties. "Our way is that we do not reveal our face to our enemies. Keep it close with you, and know you have no fear for wearing it while you remain with us. There is pride in being Mandalorian and should trouble fall to you for that helmet all of the Mando'ade will rise to defend you."
"Yet here," he says, turning the helmet over in his hands and peering into the visors reflection to look at himself. "Here you may consider yourself safe among us. Where else you choose to reveal this comfort we leave to you, but never to battle. When in battle we are warriors, and to convey our enemy the disadvantage of seeing us as anything but would dull our blades."

"I see..." it would take some used to, wearing the helmet, but she understood it was part of an identity. Something for them all to share in common with the different walks of life that pulled them together here.
"Your way is also my way now."
/seems like a good place to scene, perhaps?

With a smile he tossed the helmet around in his hands. Putting it back on he looked to her, the sight of a true and proud Mandalorian.
