Combat Posts

My advice, moving into this game, will be to keep combat posts limited in nature. That is not to say I wish to stifle all life, but do be as aware as possible of how much you can really fit within the span of time that everything is happening and what thoughts could be understandably had. Also, take into account how much thinking of superfluous things in an engagement might distract a person! (Could be a good excuse for why that roll failed!)
Anyway, my intent is to take a sum of all the rolls and summarize the actions of every character. Yours, mine, and the effects that they have on the battle.
For example:
You might say that your character dropped to their knee, taking aim and clearing their mind before they fired off a quick succession of blaster bolts.
Then, I would come in, and quickly summarize that for the general audience in such a manner as:
SampleChar rushed in, dropping to their knee and landing three shots into the chest-plate of the lead Stormtrooper.
Anyway, my aim this game will be to make combat posts as flashy and cinematic as possible. Please do not hesitate to message me in a PM either here or on discord if you would like to discuss your potential action before taking it. I am ever open to creative solutions so long as they appear functional enough to me!
