Kamda

Nerra welcomed many of his new associates into a backroom behind his back room. In here it was spacious, a desk was laid out and Nerra sat at the head. Welcoming each and every one of the people who entered personally he waited for a bit so that people could get acquainted and would then prepare to speak on what he was planning, what they needed to do.

Fuff was at the bar, after his finished performance.

From a comm receiver placed on the bar, a small blue hologram of Ters Tii arose, hands folded behind his back. The Kel Dor's image glanced about, sizing up the others at the meeting.

Solork cracks his neck, finding a comfortable seat and putting his feet up.

Claymore sits down close to Solok while looking at he datapad.

Nerra looked a bit between those that were coming together, silent as the grave for the most, "A shame, that only in times like these is when such separate people come together. Sharing the same space, the same goal. Even though it's always there, just out of our need to reach," he commented.

Ters let the silence linger for a time, then his hologram spoke. "Poetic, and a sentiment I am sure we all share. But, having observed that the true difficulty is in failing to reach out to each other, perhaps the best remedy for that will be getting down to business?"

"Business.." he said, bringing his hands together. "Business is that the Empire struck a blow against the people of Kamda long before what they are doing now. Once, pride surged in our people and our youngest championed it. Yet, the people of Kamda, we were too slow to answer the call. When the Angels needed us most, we let them down, and they were taken nearly to a man.." he said, retrieving few datapads and spreading them around. "However, it has come to my attention that at the Imperial prison here on Kamda one of those Angels is still alive, Julo, and helping him could answer many questions we have been asking about what happened that day. Further.. it could surely boost the spirits of the people."

On the documents there were plans, schematics, and other useful documentation.

"So, we are talking about an exfiltration mission." Solork starts to rub his hands.

"If I remember correctly, a mission like this has three steps: getting to the target, getting the target free, and getting the target out. Well, four, if you count none of us getting swept up after. What do we have so far?"

Was Fuff up for a prison break? Sweet deities of felinity, he didn't know. But he kept listening.

Ters was pretty sure that, if there was any fighting whatsoever, he would be immediately killed. "It...might...be doable. Provided we were rather circumspect."

"My hope is to use the information we have to merely break him out without the Imperials noticing," he said, "I am no military commander. I am just an aging man with a penchant for getting into trouble and now in my later years getting others into trouble. Only I decided that the trouble should be the right kind.." he paused.

"The prison is in the mountains, there are plenty of ways in how this goal may be accomplished but the chief one is that we get a small team inside. Get through the security, find which cell our friend is in and then extract him. Hopefully before the Imperials notice that he's missing. Of course.. if all falls apart, the team inside may need to blast there way out or fall victim to the prison system as well."

Jaxom had been sitting quietly, listening. He wanted to help. That's why he was here. But, doubt and concern weighed heavily on him.

"I have no familiarity with violence, and no talent for it," Ters intoned. "And I am not sure whether an unannounced judicial inspection of a black site would be honored by the Imperials there. I am willing to risk it, with an entourage," here he nodded at the others, "but you must understand that my public persona will come under a great deal of uncomfortable scrutiny. Chos Pokosta has already threatened me for being curious about Mandalorians."

"I'm not a fighter either, by any measure. When Plan B comes into play, I am sunk." Fuff said, very unsure why he should put his neck on the line for anyone he had never heard of. "Again, what is this extraction for? And has anybody thought of what comes next, even if it's successful?"

"It's a fair question. But there is a possible benefit: an asset for running further operations. Possible secret supply caches. Contacts to gain further connections. Plus, there is a boost to recruitment." Sol glances around. "Do we have a driver or a pilot?"

"Plan B is best avoided in any case," Nerra says. "As for a driver, if the need arises there will be one ready or perhaps if one of those of this little crew should be capable we may stash a speeder or a few nearby.." he coughed. Straitened and then stood, "Now.. I understand that each of you have your concerns. Public personae that would be put at risk, your lives as well on the chopping block. Why should any of us risk at all when it would be safer not to?"

"A question I asked myself a long time ago. My answer? If I do not risk it now, it will merely be taken from me later. One year, two years, three years down the line? Perhaps I even have a few decades left to struggle to serve those around me, trying my best. However, now.. we all have an opportunity, an opportunity to decide for ourselves when the suffering we've faced is enough. Our goal is one that is worthy, and I am certain the man we go to rescue would do the same for any other. As well, what we stand to gain is not to be easily discounted."

The sound of poorly oiled mechanical joints could now be noticed by those who could listen.

And it was coming closer

"Howdy!" Said the new arrival "Please forgive this unit's lateness for this unit needed to resolve some urgent obligation. This unit must also inform that it will not be able to purchase this week's fermented intoxicants du to current lack of funds."

The droid looked around at the crowd

"Oh, howdy all'y'all"

"Well, I'm in. I'm not much at lying, but if it comes to needing to open doors I think I can do that. I would prefer to not fight my way out, and would like to make that a way out. Honestly, it looks like a heist. Just, you know, of a person. At high stakes

"I can lie just fine." Fuff sighed, not being fully convinced. "That someone better be grateful." He crossed his arms and nodded slightly.
