Day 10

During the course of the fighting the Empire pulled back, threatening another wave that was sure to overwhelm the rebellion. At that moment was when the Star Destroyer began it's descent out of the sky.
All across the city there was panic, fear, it could be felt in the air. However.. suddenly the ship was shifted, the crew utilized the thrusters at the opportune times and other ship systems to shift the Star Destroyer away from the city. Landing some many miles away from the city none of the residents were harmed. Few knew how pivotal a roll a familiar face of Kamda, Doctor Tosath Nazora, played in these events but what the few who were aware knew was that he was the man to make the sacrifice play. If there was a pivotal role to play, he played it. Mostly it fell on an old industrial farm, that had been abandoned during the oppression of non-human on the planet. What is safe to say is that those lives of the crew, and Tosath himself, were sacrificed in pursuit of saving lives... And they saved so many.
All across Kamda many mourn the losses of those who sacrificed, but for a brief time they are free. Following the coming down of the Star Destroyer the Imperial forces retreated to their Garrison's and protected key targets. For a few days, even a week, the Rebels were in control and did what good they could before they had to jump out of system.
That is what is to come.. but for now, on this day. The people celebrate and mourn a hard fought battle. They remember all those who sacrificed. They fight on.
