Day 2 LA - What's the Fuss

[Varina Ordo]

"You can do all that? Is that normal librarian stuff?" Varina shrugged and thought about the bunker. Maybe that was why all those Mandalorians had come along. "Like you just feel like you struck lucky? What if there's nothing behind there?"

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Books don't file and organize themselves...." Jyvress chuckles nervously and then takes a bite of her 'food'.

[Roxi]

"Well, there wouldn't be any rush, I guess. And I mean, you don't have to if you don't want to or anything. It's super dangerous, after all. Just saying, I managed to salvage this old droid there, and that was *outside* the sealed place. Who knows what sort of stuff is in there?"

She also glanced at Varina, to see if she was interested. Roxi was pretty sure she could take another Gundark... but *two* gundarks would be a problem. Who knew what else was in there.

[Varina Ordo]

Varina didn't seem particularly interested in the gundark thing, though she WAS a generally aloof person. "A random droid is just a random droid. Or is there something interesting in that thing's data banks?"

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Also where is this door? I mean you don't have to be specific but just general." Jyvress asked, "I assume it's out in the wilderness if there are gundarks in there...though they aren't native to this planet as near as I remember."

[Roxi]

"Oh, I don't know," she said, to one of their questions. "It's an old confederacy base in the desert, so you know, I'm thinking there's like... weapons and stuff. The droid was an old war droid. There's also a still active, and friendly, droid around. Most of the place has been looted by Jawa, but they're too afraid to go down the tunnel where I found the door."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"An old military base?" Jyvress's frown grew, "The Confederacy had far, far worse then droids in their arsenal." Her tone turned harsh, "If that door is a secured bunker it could house weapons meant to end the lives of millions in one fell swoop. And I don't mean bombs but plagues and poisonous gases. The war was exceptionally destructive and the Confederacy was growing desperate near the end."

[Varina Ordo]

"Are you saying there's no chance there'd be cool stuff in there?" Varina didn't consider poisonous weapons to be cool. They took out all the glory from fighting, after all.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"It's an old military base...so yes it could," Jyvress nodded, then sighed. "I wonder if there is a record of what units were stationed there. That would tell you more about what could be in there." She tapped her cheek, "Could have been gundarks then...I recall reports on the Confeds using them."

[Roxi]

"Well, I don't know how to find out. That sounds like a job for... a librarian!"

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Information is a commodity dear," Her smile returns, "But I suppose I can take a favor for a favor."

[Roxi]

"Huh?" She was obviously surprised by this sudden turn of events. "But you're supposed to be a naieve friendly librarian who gives people food and stuff!"

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Well...I guess that is what I am," Jyvress shrugs, "But you want information and that goes beyond helping you two girls with a meal or two. I seem to recall you charged me for my protection." She winks. "I understand you are short on cash, so a favor for a favor."

[Roxi]

"Well... I guess that seems fair. A favor for a favor. Sure!"

[Varina Ordo]

Varina shrugged. "I'm not going to be owing ya a favor. I know how bad that goes."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Very well, I will work on your problem tomorrow." She takes another bite, "I think Miss Varina, Roxi would owe you a favor if you help her with the base. Unless you want me to see what I can dig up for you?"
