The time had come for the mission to reclaim the Mandalorian ruins.
Raven stood with her thermal cloak wrapped around herself as she looked into the night as everyone got ready, her helmet making her face inscrutible to onlookers.

Claymore is checking his gear for a 4th time. He look up at Raven. "I'm sorry I haven't been myself have awhile. All of this here and Wounded pride..." He puts his arm out for a Mandalorian handshake. "I will watch your back."

Raven gave a shake of her head, and put a hand on Clay's shoulder, giving it a firm squeeze. "No need to apologise. I've had... a lot going on too. We all fail sometimes, Clay. Don't beat yourself up over it - your time will come to be worthy of your own beskar'gam too."

"Hum, you sound a lot like your favorite librarian... Yes, I just met her in the early evening at a meeting. And she may have helped with a few new tricks for the Imp's. And, we have been very busy, but I should have made time with you,15 minutes a week or something... Bestie gotta have time together." He laughs at the end.

Somehow a Librarian found herself involved in Mando affairs. Her arrival was...a surprise to no one, "I suppose after our xenological trip earlier...it only makes sense to move on to archaeological pursuits."
Her clothes were still more street wear but the dull colors at least didn't stand out. "I know I mentioned my prior job...but perhaps there was too much emphasis on the covert agency and not enough on the working at a desk."

Around them stood four or so Mandalorian's. Those who were undaunted by the recent events and changes and still wished to stand beside Raven here for her sake. From the night weeks ago it was the woman with the patterned purple markings on her armor, the man with the dark nearly black color with the deep red mixed in, and two others who matched a light pink to a light blue in their armors. They stood beside each-other and bickered like school-children about the most innocuous things.
Dex was, of course, also there should Raven have wished it. Though she would have complained something fierce if otherwise.
"This friend of yours is squishier than the other one, isn't she?" the woman marked purple said.

"Don't worry about it, Clay," Raven assured him. "I... needed some time to myself these past weeks. Work on my own things." In peace.
Dex would of course be allowed to be there. If anything, the reason Raven had focused so hard on her training for the past weeks was because she wished for Dex to prove herself more than just a foundling, but ready to be considered a grown Mandalorian woman.
In response to her sister, Raven chuckled briefly and shook her head. "These outsiders don't really learn how to fight, or punch. But, she's smart - knows a lot about how the Empire runs. Her input here can be useful, and she has already proven herself a friend of the Mando'ade."

"Yes, she fulled me in on a few things on the when here that might be very beneficial to us." He looked towards Jyrvess.

"Then it is good to have you!" the woman marked purple exclaimed, moving to pat Jyvress on the head like a puppy.

Dex, for her part, moved between the different Mandalorians. Each of them she'd gotten a bit used to in time, though she never really did get to speak much with the male in the dark and deep red armor. Always a quiet one.
Helping out where she can before she double checked her armor once more, something of a training set. On her hip a blade outfitted for just her and on the other a small slug-thrower shotgun, though she favored the blade over any.

"...woof woof?" She responded with a deadpan expression. "At any rate I believe they will have bigger scarier threats then a lone woman in a jacket with a holdout pistol."

The Mandalorian marked purple laughed but drew deathly quiet as she looked over Jyvress' head to what she saw beyond..

Approaching with the rest of the Mandalorian's still on Kamda, Mandalore himself walked through the sand and approached to stand beside but in front of Raven, "We gather to respond to an assault on our history," he said, looking forward.

Raven too joined the others in silence as Mand'alor spoke, nodding solemnly at his words.
It was time.

Jyrvess felt extremely out of place now...like she was intruding on some sort of solemn ceremony. Fortunately she was not Manny so she didn't say something utterly inappropriate to make the situation more awkward.

"You," he said, looking back to Jyvress. "You have been brought here for your familiarity with such things. Is there aught you would divulge before we proceed?" he asked, "Speak, areutii," he demanded, his voice was booming and tinged with distaste.

"I am not familiar with the particulars of this base but I am aware of the general plan they will employ." Jyrvess stood a little straighter and tried to remember her days when she had to actually to report to scary people. "I expect there will be hidden trip lines on the path in, these will be supplemented by patrols...possibly specialized Scout Troopers who are trained for stealth, observation, and ambush. It is also likely there will be an observation post to watch the most likely approaches."
She gripped her hands behind her back, it made her look more formal and hid a small tremor. "At the actual site they will have cleared out at least 400 meters around the site. There will be precious little cover. Stationary weaponry if present will be placed to cover and overlap, the lines of fire will be such that at least two weapons can be turned on a target area if at all possible. The first line will try to hold you in place while the rest of the force can determine you size and the nature of the attack. A reserve will be kept to reinforce or counterattack as necessary. And of course any of the Scout Troopers will use the chance to move behind you and attack the rear."
"How much of each and how bad is of course dependent on the size of the dig itself. I gather they are torn between the need for discretion and finding the site important enough to protect."

"Kagr," he called, and to his side came the Mandalorian in the black armor with the dark red mixed in. Walking up to him his visor met that of Mandalore and waited for his command. "Search out these scouts, find them and dispatch them."
"As you command, Mandalore," Kagr said, dipping his head and turning about on his heel. Looking to Raven he nodded and then ran off.
"Now, areutii," he said, his voice betraying his excitement for the fray. "How will they respond to an assault from the air?"

Raven returned the nod to her leader, but remained silent. Though she did give her "librarian"-friend a reassuring pat on the shoulder.
