They had arrived, now to get the prisoner out....Jyrvess turned to the doctor, "I remember reading a report of a particularly virulent strain of Bandonian Plague in this sector, years ago. Do you think you could fake a report of it on this level? With all the other confusion it will take time for a medical team to quarantine the area and begin a sweep...but they will have to evacuate the immediate area and that should let us reach the nearest escape pods."

[Tosath Nazora]

Nodding at the pertinent information, Tosath closes his eyes for a moment and concocts the appropriate medical fib for explaining the fabricated situation. He opens them and they make their way into the area with holding cells, explaining their presence there to whoever was on duty. When he begins going over the area with a hand scanner, he locates the target and begins the medical ruse. He didn't feel great about likely freaking out the other prisoners that would likely believe their lives were in danger, but after some time the truth would eventually be revealed. Maybe they'd even appreciate the fact that someone pulled the wool over their captors' eyes.

Identifying the target as "patient zero" and giving an "emergency" injection of medication (saline). He has the area evacuated giving them the opportunity to slip the prisoner out in the confusion.

Jyrvess lead the way toward the escape pods. When stopped she put on her best Officer act. At one point screaming at some poor Lieutenant that she had been a Major for long enough and would kill him if he so much as threatened her impending promotion to Colonel with his pointless questions. She had a mission and he should stay out of it!

The Lieutenant let her pass but remembered that 'Gundark-lover of a Major's face'

Before they would enter...

A different type of Alarm claxon began to sound. One that had troopers rushing passed, piling officers and key personnel into escape pods. Others rushing to the hanger-bays and looking for Transports off the ship. Whatever happened.. it was big.

All they needed to do was get off the ship.. but..

Jyrvess froze as she heard the change in alarms, part of her wanted to see....to investigate, but she had a mission to complete and remained focused on the task. She had a prisoner to save. "Come on!" She yelled as they arrived at one of the escape pods, "Get in before the crew get here!"

Clay does his best get the 'prisoners' stealthily though the corridors to the escapes pods. "Go quickly."

He gets them all into the pods, and then jumps in as well.

Vince was too blissfully unaware of the circumstances of this escapade to actually want to sacrifice anything. So when glasses said it was time to evac he nodded and followed after her.

(Escaping the ship.)

Stopping at the door. He pauses for a moment and looks back. "There's a young girl I took in at my apartment. Kowara... she was to be my medical apprentice. If I don't make it back soon tell her I'm sorry," he says with a sorrowful look his eyes. He then punches the button that would seal the pod and release it, freeing the prisoner and his team to safety.

The doctor starts making his way.

"What are?!" Jyrvess manages to say before the door slams shut and she is thrown against the door as the pod ejects. "Damn it! DAMN IT!" She pulls herself to a forward seat and hits a button to start the descent to the surface, "DAMN IT! We were all going to make it...."

She slumps against the seat. "Good luck Tosath Nazora."

Approaching the bridge he found troopers first, all running passed him on their way to evacuation shuttles. As he got closer it was officers, also heading to evacuation shuttles. On the command bridge itself, a few flight officers quickly passed him by. Entering, unchallenged, he was witness to the end of a conversation.

[Vigo Cerasin]

"Captain, I am giving you a direct order. Abandon ship and leave these rebels to the fate they have chosen for themselves and their own people," the Admiral said, the holo-screen was a close up. Little bits of the space he was in made it appear as he was in a transport shuttle.

"I'm afraid I can't accept that order sir," he said, looking to the other four flight officers underneath him who seemed to stand in solidarity. Their Imperial caps removed and awaiting orders from their captain. Looking on them mournfully he sighed, propped up his shoulders. Looked Vigo Cerasin in the eye and said, "Signing off, Admiral," and then cut the connection.

Catching the end of the conversation, he looks to the captain and those staying behind. "Captain," he says with a bit of urgency, realizing that this was likely a disastrous situation with lives on both sides of the battle at risk. He approaches at a light jog, but not too close. The information on protocol that Jyrvess had shared was going to still come in useful even in these final moments it seems. He gives a quick salute, before putting up a hand to cut off any protestations. "You're not the only one that can choose to ignore orders when lives are at stake. What needs to be done?"

Looking to Tosath he looked distant, here they were. Two men on opposite sides of the war with a common goal, of that he was certain when he spoke, "Then we both know the gravity of what we face," pulling out his code cylinder he offered it to Tosath. "My commands have been over-ridden from here but.. but there's a chance that if you go down into the reactor control room on level 27-b you will be able to over-ride the over-ride. Allowing me direct access again from here. With that.. with that we will have all the instruments that we need to change our trajectory."

"This ship is going down. What you need to know is that if you do this you will be deep inside the ship. We will need to make corrective actions from here," he looked to his crew. "I am asking a lot of you, I understand if you want to walk away, and no one in this room would blame you, but I must ask.. without all my people here I don't know if we will be able to adjust well enough to the changing situation."

"None will know what we did, but countless people in that city will survive because of our actions today."

[Tosath Nazora]

"My home and people I care for are down there," he says, taking the code cylinder. He pulls off his pack and sets it on the floor, pulling out a bunch of stim applicators. "These should provide some performance improvement. Probably leave you with a headache in the morning... but well, there probably won't be a morning so no use worrying about a hangover. Just apply them to the back of your thigh."

With that he stands up and hands them over and shares his personal comm frequency in case he needed any additional instruction. "On my way to 27-b. I think I passed by it not too long ago, so... I believe I know the way."

With that he heads out with his comm turned on, making his way to the control room.

The Captain nods, looking to Tosath as he makes his way out of the command deck. Looking then to his crew who all looked to their leader, standing and ready. Sharing this moment of solidarity they were silent. With a crisp order he said, "To your stations."

They were ready.

Meanwhile.. Tosath had one last thing to do..

Vince can't help but blink, apparently the mad doctor was going off to do somethign mad. Though he couldn't understand the how or why of it, finding no real way to respond to glasses though he just frowned softly and wish the Doctor luck.
